Chapter two: he has a girlfriend??

Kayla's POV
When we get to school we all normally separate cause we have different classes, except for me and Anthony we both have english lit. I saw Anthony first looking around and then walking in the direction that certainly wasn't where our class was. "Hey Tony, Where are you going?" I shouted out asking him. "Woman, how many times have I told you not to call me that?" He says to my nickname for him. "I will never stop," I replied. "And I'm gonna go meet up with a friend real quick. I'll see you later." he says replying to my original question. I found this a little weird. I knew most of his friends here and the fact that he said "a friend" instead of saying their name was suspicious, And of course looking out for my other bestie, I followed him. I see him hugging a girl. She was very pretty and had brunette hair and nice summer clothes on her caramel skin. Ofc not as pretty as my bestie though. I say rolling my eyes. I wondered who this girl was and wanted to tell Jada so badly but I don't want her to get worked up for no reason, especially since this girl is the queen of overthinking, and this is coming from my mentally unstable ass so you know it's bad. I walked away before I got caught spying and went to class, trying to analyze what just happened.

Anthony's POV
School's finally over and I have to meet up with Aniyah again, at the mall. I don't want Jada, Kayla, Or even Chad to know though cause he'll tell them. Maybe if i just told them we should go to the mall they would be too busy shopping to pay attention to me. "Hey, kayla" "what do you want tony" she says. Kayla starts driving and soon enough we get to the mall. The girls walk away to go shopping and Chad follows. I said I had to go to the bathroom to get away. After walking around I finally found Aniyah so we can continue our conversation from school.

Kayla's POV
I don't trust Anthony. Yea he's my best friend and all but he seems to be very secretive and weird. I mean normally he's secretive cause this guy refuses to tell anyone much about his life, but this is worse. I have a feeling something is going on and my intuition is always right. I found myself once again following Anthony. It was hard to get away from Jada and Chad but I finally did. I step into this random store I watched Anthony walk in and I wonder why he's here since there's nothing much he would want inside this place. Just then I see him talking to that same brunette girl from earlier. Something is definitely up. I take out my phone and start recording to show Jada. I watch him take something from the girl. And then he hugs her and they continue to talk. I instantly called Jada. "GIRL SOS GET YO ASS OVER HERE RIGHT FRICKIN NOW" "what's wrong?!?" she frantically asks. " Just hurry up," i tell her.

Jada's POV
"Ummm". "what?" Chad asks due to my strange behavior. "Ya girls being weird and wants me to go wherever she is right now" I say. "Aight let's go" he responded. "Wait but I don't know if she wants you to go. She asked about me specifically and I feel like she would've just called you if she wanted you". I told him. "Oh ok" he responds but his tone of voice lets me know he's skeptical. I walk to where Kayla told me to go and I see her hiding behind some clothes looking like a stalker. "Girl what the hell are you doing and why did you call me like you're dying?" I ask. She pulled out her phone and showed me a video of Anthony and some girl. I immediately go silent and I can tell by her face she knows I'm hurt. Then she quickly stands up and tells me to go to the car. I don't want to know what she's capable of but I have too many things going on in my head to try and fight with her, So i went to the car. Kayla's POV
Oh nahh i know this little bitch and tryna mess with my bestie. I demandingly told Jada to go to my car and she surprisingly listened with no hesitation. Just then I walked over to Anthony and the little whore. "What tf are you doing and who tf is this cunt?" I ask looking Anthony dead in the eye. "Kayla, calm down" he urges. "Hell no, bro" I responded to him. "I'm his girlfriend, Who are you?" the bitch of a girl, has the nerve to ask me. I'm instantly ready to knock out both of these mofos. I slapped Anthony and then Chad came and held me back from doing anymore. Anthony ignores the hit and starts yelling at the girl. "Yo how many times do i have to tell you im not your fucking boyfriend.'' I heard him say. "Wait what? '' I responded. "Kayla, this girl is absolutely nothing. I don't know why she doesn't get this through her head," Anthony says. The girl walks away sobbing and then Anthony tells me she was really just a friend. He explains he needed something from her and when I asked what, he refused to respond but told me to trust him. Since he's still my best friend I listened to him and we all walked to the car ready to go home.
