The Marauders

The train compartment in which my best friends and I had made ourselves comfortable was a pile of rubbish. After my brother had distributed half of our provisions on the floor a few seconds ago and of course he had also emptied his water bottle, it looked accordingly. James tried to save what could be saved, just like I, because on the whole floor there was my beloved food. Sirius couldn't keep himself laughing anymore, so he wasn't of much help.

"Sometimes I would really like to pull one over for you. How can you be so incompetent and create such a chaos after less than half an hour on the way. Next time mom should just wrap up your food. Then at least there is a risk that I won't have anything left in the end. '' I was really angry, but that my brother caused chaos was nothing new. It's all just a matter of getting used to.

I still loved him for who he was.

"I'm really really sorry, Joy. I will fix it. I promise. '', My brother's voice showed that he really meant it.

After another five minutes and the disposal of sticky candy and soggy sandwiches, I sat back on my seat next to Sirius, who had calmed down again and was now looking at me from the side. It looked like he wanted to ask me something and urgently. He didn't get around to it, however, because the next moment our compartment was opened and Remus and Peter joined us again. I looked attentively at the two who settled down in their seats again. The werewolf frowned, confused by the remaining chaos.

"Merlin, what have you been doing again?", his gaze caught on me, which only made me snort.

"Moony, you don't have to look at me, you have to look at my twin!" I grumbled.

He just turned his face to James and stared at him.

,,Why can you never be left alone?"

I paid no more attention to the two of them but went back to my book. After a while, I was nudged from the side. Inquiringly, I raised my eyes and stared straight into Sirius' face.

"Did you hear anything from Cora or did she finally leave you alone after you broke up?"

He spoke very quietly so as not to attract the attention of everyone present.

„She did contacted me, but I didn't react or answered. I still need to think about what I'm going to say to her back in school."

Something I was really grateful for because after all, James was overprotective and it was still a touchy subject when it comes to my ex-girlfriend and me. So Sirius, acting like a calm brother was actually really helpful.

The thought of Cora made me sad again. Not because I still love her much, more because I always cared about our relationship and friendship. But after she cheated at a party last year, I was so heartbroken and couldn't forgive her. Of course I will always have feelings for her, after all we have experienced a lot together. But I can't forgive her for that and I don't want to get back together again, unlike her.

After a few minutes my concentration slipped away and I was only looking forward to Hogwarts, my attention was only drawn to the landscape we were driving past.
