Chapter 1

Introduction

Hi my name is Raven Jensen.

I'm 16 years old.

I'm a girl with black hair and green eyes.

I'm 5'2ft tall so yeah I'm a little short.

My past isn't all sunshine and rainbows it full of pain and hard ships .I lost my parents when I was only 8 years old. I believe they were murdered but everyone says that it was an accident. But they don't know I know a monster killed my parents cause they want me cause I'm special. I can control the elements and I can control anything's mind so they want me dead cause I'm a threat to them.

So let's get to the story.......

Chapter 1

*Beep .... Beep....Beep...Beep*

I woke up to my annoying alarm clock I threw it against the wall and it shattered into a million pieces. My bestfriend Ashley ran into my room "Aww man not again that's the third one this week" she said. "It's annoying I don't want to wake up urgh" I whined. "Quit the whining you gotta get up I made breakfast" Ashley said. Ashley is a great friend but can be annoying as hell. " Damn Ash your more annoying than my alarm clock sometimes" I said while laughing. " oh shut it Rav you know you love me I think" she said/asked. " I love you just not in the mornings cause then I wanna kill you" I told her. Her face was priceless. I burst out laughing while she pouts. "Your really mean sometimes Raven you know that" She said pouting. At this point I'm crying laughing. "And your really funny sometimes" I said literally dying of laughter.....

" Well I should probably get up and get dressed even though I don't want too" I said mostly to myself. After I took a shower and I'm dressed I put on my headphone and listen to some music. I have to go to the hunter head quarters cause I have a mission to do. When I get there I immediately go to the head hunter for my mission. They said something has been terrorizing the town Lake Cushman Washington and that young kids between the age of 3-10 have been disappearing never to be seen again. I think it's a werewolf because they always target the young and helpless. Luckily they're easy to kill just cut off their heads but if there's a whole pack it might be harder to get rid of. That's why they want me to do this mission cause there's a possibility of there being a pack and I'm the only one that know's how to wipe out an entire pack without casualties and without getting hurt. After I got my mission from the head hunter I walk out and back to my car and I head home to go pack for my trip to Lake Cushman Washington. I tell Ashley that I'll be leaving on a hunt today and she seemed sad and scared cause she lost her parents to monsters too. I reassure her that I'll be fine and she hugs me goodbye I hug her back and get my things and put it in my car and I drive off to Lake Cushman.

On my way there I listen to some music and I sing along to the music. As I sing along to the music I think back to when everything was good in the world when my parents was still alive and as I think back on those days I miss them even more. I didn't even notice I was crying until I arrived in Lake Cushman a few hours later. I stopped at this motel called the glass house retreat and figured it'll have to do till the mission is over and done with. I booked in and the motel lady lead me to my room. She even helped me carry my bags. When we reached my room she opened the door I entered the room and was amazed that the room was in such good condition. It looked better than what I was expecting I was expecting it to look like it did on the outside but it's nothing like the outside. The room was a baige color with white curtains and grey carpets in the room was a cosy single bed with black and white blankets and a soft pillow. The room has a walk in closet and a nice bathroom. I was surprised to say the least " This'll do thank you ..... Layla" I said smiling at the lady, she looked to be mid forties and her name tag said her name is Layla. "Okay dearie I hope you enjoy your stay just let me know if you need anything" she replied. "I will thanks a lot Layla" I said. As she left I got settled in I put my clothes in the walk in closet. After I put everything away I get ready to take a shower. After I got out of the shower I get dressed and go on my laptop to do some research to see if I can find some clue's that'll make things a little easier. After I finished my research I close my laptop and decided I want a coffee I think I'll go to that cafe I saw on the way here I think it's Nina's Lake Cushman cafe. I get ready and head to my car it's a 5minute drive to the cafe so I put on my favorite song 'paranoid' from black Sabbath. I was singing along to the music when I arrived I got out of my car and head in to get my coffee. I walk straight to the cashier and order a coffee and a biscuit I gave her my name and she told me she'll call out my name once my order is done. I went over to one of the tables and sat down waiting for my name to be called, as i wait i start to think about the mission it can be a werewolf or it can be a vampire they both fit the description that I was given but I can be wrong. Whatever it is I'll start searching tomorrow. Just as I finished thinking my name was called I got up and got my coffee and biscuit and went back to the hotel. When I got back I started making notes of the information I was given and where to start looking tomorrow. After I did that I packed everything away and want to the bathroom to brush my teeth and after that I got in bed and texted Ashley telling her that I'm still save and that I'm gonna start looking for the thing tomorrow.

"Hey girl I'm still safe just got settled in and I'm in bed now I'm gonna start looking for this thing tomorrow" I texted her and waited a few minutes for her reply.

"Hey glad to know your safe and please just be careful tomorrow I don't want to lose you too" She replied after a few minutes.

"I promise I'll be careful you won't lose me too that won't happen" I reassured her.

"Okay's you should probably go to sleep you've got a long day ahead of you"-Ashley

"Yeah your probably right I'll head to bed I guess goodnight Ash Love you bestie"-Raven

"Goodnight Love you too Rav"-Ashley

After my conversation with Ashley I decide to go to sleep cause I have a long day ahead of me tomorrow.

"Goodnight mom goodnight dad love you guys" I said right before I fell asleep......
