The day had dragged on, the boredom drowned your thoughts leaving you desperately trying to entertain yourself without getting fired. The office job was worse than whatever hell could bring. At the end of your shift, you overhear a small conversation with a few colleagues. Something about a big party at the biggest club in Pentagram City. Finally, maybe some fun would be a great motivation to smile again. You head back home thinking about how the night could go by.

When night rolled around, you got dressed in the best attire you could find in your apartment. With a little bit of meticulous handy work on your hair, you left in confidence. When you arrived at the club, lots of other demons were waiting in line to get inside. Place must've been packed full, there was no way you'd get in waiting in line. Luckily for you, maintenance being carried out on the building meant there was a way to sneak inside. However, it was definitely gonna be guarded and risky. Didn't matter, you didn't come there for no reason, you were getting in one way or another.

You make your way to the back of the building, scouting for guards. There were at least seven outside and god knows how many inside. There was a ladder that led to the slope roof hole but it was folded. It was your best chance, you had to sneak through the roof. Fortunately a fight broke out inside the building and most of the guards rushed in. Now was your chance to get in. You sneak your way to the ladder and slowly unfold it. Climbing wasn't even a challenge, the real challenge was looking out for guards inside the building.

When you reached inside, you crawled on your knees through the roof floor, and stop at a vent to see place. It was massive, the inside looked futuristic, definitely gonna be a night to remember. You keep going to find an empty room. Eventually you see what seemed to be a private room with a table and flatscreen T.V. You push out the vent cage quietly and crawl out. Suddenly the door opened, you rushed towards the back of the couch and go dead silent.

It sounded like two men having a business chat, maybe they were just getting something and leaving. Unfortunately they sat on the chair and discussed further. "I believe it's best if we cut him loose, he's no use to us anymore Val." A voice that sounded like a T.V. Startled you a bit, but you listened in. "How many times do I have to say no Vox. Angel Dust may be a nuisance, but he makes money, and builds reputation. You should understand that better than anyone." It took a minute but you realized that these were no normal demons, they were overlords! Not good, death was sitting right in front of you. You better swear to Lucifer that those two do not notice a figure huddled behind the couch.

While the two watched a movie, a small shark like animal walked behind the couch and stared at you. The small shark turned their head in curiosity, you couldn't move an inch as it rubbed against you. The last thing you needed was an angry pet shark and overlords trying to kill you. It nudges your hand, you gently pet it as it makes its way to your face. It licked up your chin and nose, the tingling sensation sent you into a sneezing frenzy. The two immediately looked behind the couch, staring directly at you, angry and shocked. Now you were in deep trouble..
