Secret Grande

Chapter 3

Ariana's Pov

We continue shopping for a while. Harpa is sitting in the trolley cause her legs got really sore. She isn't use to this much walking. I just happy I got to spend the day with her. She has so many new clothes in the trolley but I don't mind spending money on her. I decide to start and head home.

After an hour we were finally home. I get Harps out of the car and she helps me carry all the bags inside. We carry all the bags up to her room and start to unpack them. Once we get all her clothes hang up I turn to Harpa.
"What do you want to do now ?" I ask her.
"Watch Disney movies" she replies.
"What type of Disney movies?" I ask.
"Frozen and then tangled" she replies.
"Okay" I say starting Frozen.

We sit there watching the movie and singing to each of the songs that come on. When let it go comes on she gets up and starts dancing around the room. I get my phone out a record her dancing and singing it's the cutest thing ever. My phone beeps at the end of Frozen to signal I have a text.

I look at my phone and it's a text from Liz.

From Liz:

Hey Ariiii just letting you know I'm in Cali and Avan, Matt and I are catching up tomorrow and wondered if you wanna come ?

To Liz:

Sounds great ! I'll have Harpa, Do you mind if I bring her along?

From Liz:

She's a little cutie sure that's not a problem. How's it going with all that ?

To Liz:

I have to tell everyone soon. It's getting to me. I can't handle not being seen in public anymore.

From Liz:

You'll find out the right thing to do you always do. I have to go I'll see you tomorrow at the Starbucks near your house, then we'll see what we want to do from there? Okay ?

To Liz:

Sure sounds great see you then.

I put down my phone and looked back at Harpa. She had fallen asleep I the lounge. I carried her upstairs to her room and tucked her in. I walked back down stairs to find Mom in the kitchen.
"Hey mom" I say sitting across from her.
"Hey Ari. What's up?" Mom says looking at me.
"I think I'm ready to come clean and tell the world about the secret" I say.
"You think are you sure. Once it's out there's not changing it and it will change everything" Mom says.
"I know but I can't keep living like this" I say.
"I know it's hard but it's your secret if you want to tell the world you know how you have to do it" she says.
"Thanks mom. It's just breaking me I have to tell them soon" I say.
"That's okay Ari" Mom says giving me a kiss on the head.

I walk back up the stairs to Harpa's room. She's laying there awake I wonder how long she's been awake for.
"Hey baby, how long have you been awake for?" I ask.
"A little while" she replies back.
"So listen baby, I have to tell you something?" I say.
"What is it?" She asks.
"I'm your mother not your sister" I say.
"What?" Harpa says looking at me shocked.
"You're my baby, I'm your Mommy" I ask.
Harpa gets up and runs.
"Harpa wait. Come back" I run after her.
She didn't run down the stairs so she's still up stairs somewhere but I wonder where. She has to have a hiding spot cause when ever she's sad she disappears and comes back when she is happy. I hear a bang in the upstairs coat closet. I open the door and see a little tunnel. I wonder where this leads. I get down on my hands and knees and crawl through the tunnel. On the other side is this little room where Harpa keeps all her special stuff and there's another tunnel leading off of it.
"Harpa there you are" I say seeing her curled up in a little ball crying.
"Didn't you want me?" She asks crying.
"No baby, that's not true. Your daddy wasn't a very nice man and when I gave birth to you I couldn't let you go. I wanted you but because I was 15 I couldn't fully look after you and the pap would of taken heaps of pictures of you and they would of made up stories and it wouldn't have been very nice. Having my mom look after you, and you brought up as my sister. I could see you grow and love and support you without the media knowing. I was also filming and had to hid me being pregnant then having to have a disease to go to hospital. My close friends and crew knew but the media didn't suspect anything so it worked. I'm so sorry baby but I've never loved you any less. Everything you'd call my mom, mom it would break me. I've wanted to tell you for sooo long but I had to make sure you were old enough to understand. I love you so much baby" I say with tears streaming out my face.
"I love you too Mommy" she whispers.
I open my arms and she gets in my lap and I wrap her in the biggest hug ever.
"I've wanted to hug like this for sooo long Babygirl you have no idea how happy I am right now" I say.
"I'm happy too" she says with a big smile on her face.
"Come on let's get out of here and go watch Tangled. By the way how did you find this ?" I asked.
"Once day I was exploring and I found this place. That tunnel leads to my bedroom" Harpa says pointing down the other tunnel that I hadn't been down yet.
"Oh okay come on then" I say crawling out of the tunnel to watch the movie.
I get out of the coat closet and wait for Harpa to follow once she's out I pick her up and give her another big hug. I carry her to the lounge room and I sit down on the lounge with her on my lap. I play Tangled and Harpa snuggles into my chest as I play the movie. I pull out my phone and take a selfie of the two of us. We sit there and watch the movie snuggled into each other. The way I've always wanted it to be. I can't believe I finally have my baby in my arms.

I finally updated and it's 1112 words long wow. And I've spilled the secret what do you guys think ?
