Mia's POV: "Wake up, Mia.". I heard my mom say softly as I woke up to the sun shining on my face. I yawned as I sat up. "Morning," I mumbled while rubbing my dark chocolate-colored eyes. I could feel my cat on my lap purring as I tried to sit up in bed. "Go ahead, hurry up, and get ready. Breakfast is on the table when you are done." I nodded my head sleepily in reply hoping my mom understood. I heard her chuckle as she walked out. I lifted my cat off of my lap and headed to my closet to get my uniform and put it on. My uniform is a dark blue long-sleeved jacket, a white shirt under it and with a black striped tie and an optional dark blue skirt. I of course wear a skirt.

As I headed to the living room, I tied up my long black hair and straightened out my uniform. I grabbed a quick Gluten-Free piece of toast, grabbed my backpack up swiftly from the ground, grabbed my keys, and headed outside to the car. I saw my mom sitting in the car on her phone. I headed over and opened the passenger side door and got in. "Hey," I said as I closed the door. I watched as my mom looked up from her phone and smiled. She put her phone down and turned the radio on. As my mom started pulling out of the driveway.

I lean my head on the cold glass window while listening to the radio, my mind wanders. I wonder if I will be able to make any friends at this new school. Especially since I did not have many friends at my old school because of a classmate of mine...

I snapped back to reality as I saw my mom pull in front of the school. I see the big campus building looming up before us. I widened my eyes in surprise, as I have never been to such a big campus building before. The only ones I have ever been to were fairly small buildings. They never held this many students as this one does. I start getting extremely nervous. As I get out of the car, I now realize that this might be a little more complicated than I originally thought.

I turn around to say bye to my mom to only be met with an empty space. 'Wow, not even a bye.' I thought as I turned around and started walking onto the campus ground. I could feel the anxious butterflies in my stomach as I was walking. 'Just keep on going forward.' I told myself over and over. 'You can do this.' I stopped as I saw the steps leading up into the school. I looked up at the huge school building. I sighed as I looked back down at my feet and started walking up the steps. I stepped on the smooth, shiny tile floor and looked up. 'I need to find the principal's office.' I realized as I started walking.

When I finally got my supplies, I looked at the sheet the principal gave to me with my classroom numbers and locker number. As I looked up from the sheet of paper I realized that I was close to my locker, number (#349). As I walked to my locker I realized someone was using the locker beside mine. As I look at them I realize that they look kind of familiar and then that's when it hits me...
