3rd person pov
It was a Wednesday night in Gotham city and like usual Joker was on the run from Batman and Robin. Somehow their chase had led them to the outskirts of Arkham Asylum "at this rate you'll never catch me!" Joker shouts as he runs further ahead from the dynamic duo "when I get my hands on you joker I'll choke you with your own laughing gas!" Robin yells as he speeds up "Master Bruce I'm afraid we have another issue" Alfred says over the comms "what is it?" Batman asks "jokers men have taken numerous hostages across the city" Alfred replies "we need to go" Batman says as he turns to his sidekick "but we can't let joker go!" Robin yells "if we let him go now who knows how many he could kill" he says "it's too dangerous to split up" batman says "Bruce this is what you've been training me for, I can handle this you get the hostages and I'll stop joker" Robin says. Batman looks at the young man before answering the comns "alfred get me the location for the hostages" he says "thank you" Robin says as he turns around and pursues the clown
(Y/N) POV
As I run after the joker I think to myself "this is it, my chance to prove myself" as I turn around the corner I hear the sound of Jokers distinct laughter "I've got you now!" I shout as I speed up "actually I think you'll find I've got you!" I hear joker yell from above as I get tackled to the ground. Jokers attack catches me by surprise and before I can fight him off he strikes me across the head with a crowbar leaving me dazed "not the brightest sidekick are you?" Joker says as I try to get to my feet only to black out.
I wake up in a dark room "hello?" I call out "is anyone there?" I call out again and suddenly I can hear someone moving closer "welcome to your new home" joker says as one old lightbulb turns on lighting up his pale white face "I hope you like it you'll be spending a while here" he says "screw you!" I yell "wow looks like bats doesn't teach you any manners" he says before carrying over a car battery with two jumper cables attached "w-wait hold on" I say as my eyes widen as he moves closer to me "no!, no!, noo!" I manage to say before the joker attaches the jumper cable to my ears sending a large surge of electricity through my head.

And that's how it started if only I knew then the hell I would be stuck in for the next two years and that nobody was going to save me
