After that day they started to not care what they used their powers for; except Aspen, she barely used her powers after that day she even became numb and only talked to her sisters, Banshee and Nyx still fight over that day and Banshee always protests that she did it to protect her baby sisters and yelled
"THAT IS WHAT MOM AND DAD WOULD HAVE WANTED!" they just froze, Aspen never met her mom and barely remembered her dad. All she ever saw when she tried to remember him was a blurred image of a man with a hat that always had some kind of flower in it.
Although her sisters remember their dad and mom very well and after that comment they started to cry Banshee apologizing profusely because of the memories she made her sister relive, Banshee could see it in her sister's eyes as the memories that she locked away came flooding back to her as she continued to ball her eyes out.
Aspen just stood there in the doorway watching what had transpired; she brought her hand to her cheek to feel water coming from her eyes... 'I'm crying?' She thought to herself, Aspen hadn't cried since the day their last village was cursed,
both her sisters looked up to see her in shock looking in her hand, after they saw the tears rolling down her face they got up and hugged her in the tightest hug they could, Aspen then asked something that shocked her sisters, she asked "Can you tell me about our mother?"
It had been a month since Aspen asked to know more about the mother she never knew. Even though Nyx was only 5 when her mother passed she had always had a brilliant memory, she had remembered every detail of her mothers face the day before she died. Nyx had always been a mama's girl and always will be, she had taken her mothers passing the hardest and locked those memories of her passing, mourning her death, and the funeral away.
