Chapter 11

A Week Later
Halle's PoV

"Halle you know you and Nydia are cute as hell together.", said Chloé.

"Chloe you know damn well me and relationships don't mix.", I replied.

"Come on Halle, you've never been in one, just try it out.", she said.

"No, I don't wanna do anything that keeps me away from you and with someone I don't know too long.", I said laying down the black salt.

"You know that stuff is dangerous.", she said referring to the dark spell I was about to do.

"Oh I know, but Brittany is literally in arms reach.", I grinned. This spell was gonna put a scent on her, every vampires, werewolf, or witch would be on her.

"Don't bring our mother into this Chloe.", I said becoming irritated.

"But she wouldn't want you to do this, it's the ripper isn't it?", she asked.

"No.", I lied.

"I can tell when you're lying."

"Look he has nothing to do with it, I chose to go down this road.", I said.

"Halle don't go, you already have too much darkness as it is, you've been through enough.", she said.

I ignored her speech and began placing the items inside the circle of black salt.

"I suggest you leave because it's gonna get hot.", I said before beginning the chant. Like told the black salt set ablaze with me in the middle and I began to the spell.

Chloe's PoV

I watched as Halle began the spell and my heart shattered a little because this road wasn't the one to go down. I didn't want her giving up her soul to this life.

I heard the doorbell ring and I slowly made my way to it. I opened it to see Nydia and Paris standing there.

"Paris come with me, Nydia go stop your girlfriend upstairs.", I said. She looked at me with a confused look before she realized who I was talking about and zoomed up the stairs.

"Wassup Chloe, why you look so down?", asked Paris as I walked her to the kitchen.

"Halle, she's taking on black magic.", I said as I grabbed the jar of moonshine.

"Her ripper."

"Damn, we went through a rough process with Nydia also.", she said.

"What could possibly be wrong with Nydia?", I asked.

"My sister is crazy, not only is she a diagnosed psychopath but she has a ripper.", she said .

"Ha, I wouldn't believe you if you were being honest.", I said. I heard giggling and soon saw Nydia and Halle walk in with Nydia on Halle's back.

"I see you got her to stop.", said Chloe.

"You didn't tell me a black flame was involved.", said Nydia showing her hand which was still healing.

"I'm sorry.", said Halle kissing her hand.

"Y'all two are sickening.", said Paris.

"Whatever, let's go to the backyard Baby.", said Nydia holding on.

I shook my head at the goofy smile on Halle's face when Nydia called her Baby. Nydia is good for her, not only is she also bat shit crazy, but she's protective and sweet.
