Rumple's PoV
Everything had been a blissful few months, Belle's baby bump had begun to softly show, and I assured her of her pure beauty. Our baby was to be perfectly healthy and strong, perhaps a little girl just like her. Or as Belle wanted it a baby boy like his Father. You can't be like me..she doesn't deserve to go through that again..be a good little addition to our family..our family..
"Rumple! Rumple, good morning my love.." Her kisses sent my heart racing and as I looked down something seemed a bit different, I couldn't figure it out.
"How are you sweetheart?"
"Excited! We have the appointment today, they're going to show us our baby..our precious little child..." She turned her head into my shoulder and we swayed for a few moments, just in our front room, though I couldn't think of something else I'd rather do.
¤¤¤Ultrasound Appointment
Belle's PoV
"Isn't this exciting Rumple? To see our little Gold.."
The cool gel was placed onto my stomach and I flinched, Rumple's hand holding mine in anticipation, anxiousness in both our faces.
The machine began to catch onto a heartbeat, relief washed over us. Then a strange background noise occurred.
"Well congratulations to the both of you."
"What's the extra noise?" Suspense built in our chests, filled with fear and anxiety.
"You're to have twins.."
The words took a second to completely process. Once they did relief flooded our hearts. Twins! Two baby Gold's!
"Rumple...we're having twins!" A smile plastered itself onto my face, his eyes stared in disbelief.
"Oh Belle, they'll be perfect. Just like you sweetheart.." I watched the ultrasound machine for a few moments longer and held Rumple's hand, his other caressing my head. Once I was cleaned off we went to Granny's and sat in "our" booth.
"How's the baby, Belle?" Ruby whispered into my ear.
As I pulled my friend down to my level I revealed it to be twins and her eyes lit up.
"Wow, really? Congratulations!"
We ate our lunch and now there would be two names to decide upon. I wanted to have a least one boy, one who'd look like his father, have his manners..Rumple I knew wanted a little girl, one who'd look the same as me. Perhaps now we could have both, maybe even the opposite. A little Daddy's girl..Momma's boy...
"Hey Grandpa!" Henry's appearance shocked me once more. He's becoming a gentleman.."And my beautiful Grandma..er..Belle?" Smiling at him his thoughts seemed to roll. "Are you two alright? You've been to the doctor's more as of late, are you sick?"
"Oh no, nothing like that Henry. Just..family business."
"I'm family.."
"That you are..can you keep a secret son?" Rumple ushered him to sit down, I realized where this was going.
"It won't be a secret too much longer Rumple.."
"You see..Belle's..."
"I'm having twins Henry, I've been pregnant for nearly four months."
"Why'd you keep it a secret? That's wonderful news!"
"I..wanted to make sure everything was okay, before I told anyone. Precautionary measures."
