Boboiboy: Hero School!

Chapter 3 ~ The briefing (*dun dun DUNNNN!!!!*)

Today was the day. The briefing of their first mission since Ochobot's update. Boboiboy wouldn't say he's excited, per say. More of... curious?

What worlds would they be brought into? Were the people going to be friendly? Were they going to be people in the first place? Questions are for later, anyways.

Boboiboy and his friends sat in the briefing room in silence, waiting for the Commander or Admiral to come into the room to start the mission briefing.

Gopal was on his watch, playing a bubble popping game that Nut had coded for him. Fang was fiddling with the colour settings on his watch's background. Ying and Yaya were... reading books? Wait no, they were doing next month's homework.

Boboiboy shivered. They were very hardcore when it came to their studies. Boboiboy decided to do something too. He learned this new trick after a few weeks of research. He closed his eyes and breathed slowly, calming himself. Not to summon Boboiboy Air, no. But to bring his mind inside the watch. Crazy, right? His eyes even glow when he's doing it!

When he opened his eyes, he was back on Earth, next to his house. The lights were on, and it was forever nighttime. He could hear people talking inside. His elemental counterparts were definitely awake right now. He walked to the front door and knocked. It was best to be polite so that Tanah doesn't accidentally punch his lights out.

Speaking of Tanah, the kind boy opened the door for Boboiboy. They looked exactly the same, except for some stylization differences. "Oh! Hi Boboiboy! We were just watching through your power watch, the briefing hasn't started yet, so don't worry. Come in, come in, I made some food." Tanah quickly dragged him inside the house. Food wasn't actually going to make you full here, but it did at least give you some energy.

Boboiboy scanned the first floor of the house. The TV was on, and it was a low quality show of Boboiboy's first person view in the TAPOPS station.

Air was sprawled on the ground, half asleep while Api was placing popcorn on his chest. Petir was also asleep, except he was on the couch with a book placed on his face. Maybe most of them weren't awake then.

Tanah had quickly left for the kitchen, in which Boboiboy noticed Daun was in the kitchen too, helping make some drinks. He wondered where Cahaya and Angin were until he heard an explosion from upstairs. What the hell?! Air somehow hadn't woken up even from the noise.

Two sets of footsteps could be heard, along with angry screaming. "ANGIN YOU FUCKING IDIOT!!!!! YOU BLEW UP MY EXPERIMENT!" Cahaya roared from the second floor, which Angin quite literally flew down from the stairs. "IT'S NOT REAL ANYWAYS, CAHAYA! JUST DO IT AGAIN!" Angin screamed back, shaking in his sneakers. The wind elemental turned to see Boboiboy and sighed in relief. "Oh stars, hi Ori! Hey, so can I ask you a, uh, a favour? Please please please? Because when Cahaya comes down from there he won't be Cahaya anymore and I will quite literally be pounded to dust! Can you like, tell him I apologised and actually ran out the door?" Angin said speedily, and Boboiboy didn't even have time to nod before a gust of wind blew past him and shut the door.

"Oh shit." Was all he could say before Solar came thundering down the stairs with glowing eyes and a transparent Eclipse attack at the ready. "Angin! Stop disguising as Boboiboy. I will eradicate you!" He said angrily to Boboiboy. "I- I am not Angin! He flew out the door and said sorry! Please don't-" And all Boboiboy could see was a yellow light before coming back into the real world. Gopal sat next to him, the bubble popping game forgotten as he waved his hand in front of Boboiboy. "Boboiboy? Boboiboy? Man, your eyes are glowing! Did you get hit? Your forehead is red." Gopal asked him, helping him sit back up. Boboiboy took a few seconds to regain his senses, noticing the confused, if not worried expressions on his friends' faces.

"Eh? Yeah I'm alright. I guess. I got hit by a really mad Solar." Fang winced silently. "Because he thought I was Angin." he finished saying.

"Huh? What did Angin do?" asked Ying, who used her powers to quickly find a place next to him. "Eh... well, he blew up one of Solar's experiments. Even if it wasn't real, but to him, an experiment was an experiment. I- uh, look I'll tell you guys later, I can hear the Admiral and Commander's footsteps." Boboiboy said, not wanting to continue further, and the teens scrambled to their seats from their places on the floor.

The door opened with a "swoosh!" and Admiral Tarung and Commander Koko Ci walked in. Ochobot floated close behind. "TAPOPS cadets!" The two, high-positioned aliens said in a strong voice. "Admiral! Commander!" The five stood up, saluting. "Sit down. I'm sure you all know why you're here. " began Admiral Tarung as the Kokotaim gang sat back down, nodding. "Today, is your mission briefing. It has been a few weeks since your last mission, and this one will be a hard one. We are sending you away to a whole other universe, after all." Boboiboy still couldn't get over that fact! A whole other universe. If their universe was dangerous enough, who knows what others have in store.

I'd just like to add that the briefing will only be seen in flashbacks from now on because I'm really excited to get to the mha arc
