The water, warm from all the hours the sun has sheen on it. The air thick, feeling unbreathable. The queen, standing with her youngest hand in hand at the shore of the Nile in Aswan. Both staring into the water. The son uncertain if what he is seeing is actually there and too young to fully understand the matter. A man screaming in the background close to the mother and son. The queen of Egypt doesn't take her eyes off the Nile, the voice not catching her ears like she is the one under the water. "Dalilah", the voice calling her name. This time bringing the woman out of her trance. Suppressing her feelings deep within her and the tears forming in her eyes that were about to fall down her warm cheeks before turning around to face the man.

"You shouldn't have come here", the man speaks again. With a cold look on her face almost lifeless she said:" I needed to see it myself. I can't just believe spoken words without seeing it with my own eyes. Not if it's about my own blood". "But not with him", the man pointed to the young kid next to her. "He is old enough to know about the matter of death. You should be feeling it too, it's our son lying dead in the Nile", she said while bowing down to lift the young son up. "Just because I don't let my emotions take over doesn't mean I am not sad". The queen without a word walked away, away from her dead son and leaving her husband behind. Him now being the one who's staring into the water and at the lifeless body swaying in the water. It had been 2 days since the so-called incident. 2 days in that not even one second the scene didn't haunt the king's mind.
