After leaving Carlos and that brunette, I rushed to my car, and say there. In my burning hot car for what felt like hours.
Turns out it was only 45 minutes that I sat there... Finally I turn my car on and pull out. I start to drive home.
But you know what, I'm going to the Cafè where I met her.
I know you can be strong. Her voice whispers in my head. I'm sitting alone at a table in the Cafe. I keep hearing her voice everywhere. I don't understand why, but I feel that she hasn't let go yet. It makes me miss her more. Would it be easier if I didn't hear her? A perky voice interrupts my thoughts, "could I get you anything Dearie?" A waitress asks me, snapping her gum impatiently. I look up at her, and silently shake my head. "No.. Not right now. Thanks though." She snaps her gum and walks away, clearly happy that she has nothing else to do.
After sitting at the table alone for awhile the waitress comes back, she looks at me for a moment. Then she quietly says, "Hon.. Are you alright?" I stare at the table and shrug silently. She cocks her head at me. " Well Hon, I gotta close up shop. You do realize its after 6?" She looks generally concerned for me. I stand quietly, step around her and walk out the door to my car.
Once again. I sit in the car, missing her. Everything about her. Her touch.. her voice. Just.. Her. But finally... After awhile I put a key into the ignition, and drive home. When I get home there are no lights on in the house but its only 7... Oh well. Maybe mom just isn't home.
I get out of the car and go inside. After walking around for awhile I go lay down in my bed, and fall asleep after awhile.
