  🎂Sheila's POV🎂

I banged the top of the stove with anger.

"Damn it!"

It wasn't working. After twenty decades of being used in this Bakery, it decides to mess up on my busiest day. It was working fine yesterday day.

*Ding*

I clenched my fist as I left my kitchen and to the front counter to reject another customer. An elderly Asian woman stood with a soft smile.

"Oh Mrs. Lee, my stove isn't working, "I whined hurrying around to help her find a seat in the small Bakery.

"Hush, hush now honey. A very handsome white boy dropped me off. Handsome yes. Fix your hair", she patted down my coils of brown hair.

I pulled away slightly. "It's fine," I frowned.

*Ding*

"Excuse me, you left your purse, " a deep voice called before entering.

"Grab my purse, darling," Mrs. Lee said.

The man ducked in the door with the large Gucci purse in hand. Well, it looked small with him holding it. He was a giant.

My mouth hung slightly at the man before me.

He was pale white and medium-length black hair that was slicked back. When I say black I don't mean dark brown that looked black. I mean black as in charcoal black.

He had lazy eyes surrounded by thick black lashes and black arched brows. His stormy grey eyes were piercing as he looked at me.

I slowly took the bag he held out. His lower lip curled slightly. They were pale pink. His lower lip was fuller than the top, promising earth-shattering kisses.

His jawline was impressively sharp.

All that beauty leads to a tattooed neck and wide shoulders. He was buff. Not a gym junkie buff. Just meaty buff. I could tell even though he had on a crisp tux.

"T- thanks," I stared.

"Of course," he held glasses in his other hand and put them on.

My breath caught when I saw his watch. This man reeked of wealth.

He's got to be at least 6'3 too.

I dragged myself out of the trance of his beauty.

"The stove is not working today," I didn't stutter this time.

"If I could get you a drink..." my words trailed away.

"Water," he sat at the table across from Mrs. Lee.

I nodded dumbly and hurried to the kitchen for a cup of Ice water.

I pushed the lid on a grabbed a paper incased straw.

"Here ya go," I set the drink in front of him.

The usual group of local college students came in.

"Hey Shiela," Rachel Thompson waved.

I smiled and sent a little wave back. Rachel's my niece.

"Sheila Dawg," Juan slung an arm around my neck.

I patted his hand and smiled.

"How is school", I asked while trying to ignore the pale man's watching grey eyes.

"Good so far, I've gotten my grades up to a B+," he grinned.

"That's good Juan, you don't mind taking a look at my oven, it's not working today," I asked.

"Yeah of course," he nodded while patting my shoulder and wandered to the kitchen.

I sighed unable to keep it in.

"Thanks for bringing Mrs. Lee  and the drink is free," I turned to the handsome
man.

He continued to stare but didn't say a word.

I forced a smile and walked away.

Weird.
