HUA YING (WANGXIAN)

Chapter 4: Lan-er-gege and Bunny

Xie lian and Hua Cheng have been looking for hours now. They ask people but they didn't see their son at all.

"What if something happens to our baby San lang?" Xie Lian ask worriedly.

"Nothing will......" Before Hua cheng could finish speaking he saw Hua ying in his silver butterfly, chatting with two other kids. "Gege look our a-ying is in a restaurant."

"Let's go now San lang." Xie Lian run towards the restaurant.

"A-YING!!!" Xie Lian exclaimed.

"Niang!!!" Hua Ying stood up abruptly and ran towards him and hug his mother, he cried in relief.

"Bunny why did you run off without telling us? You made us so worried." Hua cheng spoke as he also embraced his son sandwiching him between his gege.

"Sorry Die, Niang!"

"It's okay just don't do run off anywhere again okay." Xie lian spoke wiping his son's tears.

"I promise to not run off again Niang, Die." Hua Ying spoke solemnly. Hua cheng scope his son and carried him. Hua ying just hug his a-die tightly.

"May I know your names young masters?" Xie lian ask the lan brothers.

"Hello xiansheng. I am Lan Xichen, Lan Huan of gusu lan, and this is my younger brother Lan Wangji, Lqn Zhan." Lan xichen spoke politely while lan zhan look st them blankly.

"Such a polite and handsome child. Anyways thank you for accompanying our son young masters." Lan xichen spoke smiling at them.

"The bunny is crying." Lan zhan spoke. Hua cheng choked while Xie lian is amused.

"Er gege Im not a bunny." Hua ying retort back pouting.

"A-ying is cute like bunny." Lan zhan insisted. Lan Xichen look at a-ying's parents expecting them to be angry calling their son as bunnies. But xie lian just laugh amused while hua cheng chuckled.

Hua Cheng "Of course our little bunny is cute."

"Die!" Hua ying protested.

"Your die is calling you bunny as well, so why can't I? You are really just like a bunny so cute." Lan zhan speak although his face is blank but his eyes sparkle everytime he spoke to hua ying. And seeing him interact with someone else like this made Lan xichen to be happy.

"Stop teasing now wangji." Lan xichen spoke.

"I like you kid. Just call me Hua shushu and my husband Xie shushu." Hua cheng spoke looking at Lan zhan.

"We must depart now young masters." Xie lian paused, "baobei you bid farewell to them now."

"Bye Lan-er-gege, Lan-gege I hope to meet you soon."

"Bunny here, take this and meet me again." Lan zhan said giving him his forehead ribbon.

"Wangji! What are you doing. Did you forget the meaning of our forehead ribbon?" Xichen ask bewildered.

"Why is the forehead ribbon had meaning A-huan? If it's okay I call you that?" Xie lian ask.

Lan Xichen look at him still still shock from wangji's action. He was also shock at the sudden familiar call. But he was quite happy.
"Xie-shushu our forehead had a deep meaning in it. It was only allowed to be touch by family, spouse or cultivation partners."

Hearing the meaning shocked Xie Lian while Hua Cheng was amused.

"Baobei you give back a-zhan's forehead ribbon okay?" Xie lian said looking at his son who already wrap the ribbon in his left wrist.

"No Lan-er-gege give this to a-ying."

"Mn. Give to bunny."

"But wangji do you know the meaning of giving your forehead ribbon to someone else?" Xichen ask.

"Mn. Wangji knows." Lan zhan spoke stubbornly.

"Then you know that if you give your ribbon to that person, it means you are already engaged? Then do you know the meaning of being engaged a-zhan?" Xie lian ask.

"Mn. It means I would marry that person." Lan zhan answered.

"San lang, stop laughing and help me out will you."

"Gege it's okay, even if Lan zhan wants to marry our bunny they are still a child they were merely a 5 years old so no need to worry about." he answered, then turns towards lan zhan, "Lan zhan right? Do you really want to marry my bunny?"

"Mn will marry bunny."

"Then take this, We will come visit you often. And if soon you still want to marry our bunny then I will give you my blessings." Hua Cheng said giving him a silver butterfly tassel with a lotus flower.

"Mn"

"Then we will take our leave now. See you soon a-huan and a-zhan."

"Bye lan-er-gege." Hua ying waves and only stop once he didn't see his er-gege's silhouette.

"Die are we going home now?"

"Yes we are going home now bunny."

"And you will be practicing calligraphy as a punishment for running off baobei."

"But niang!" Hua Ying whined.
