Gene's POV
I took a deep breath as I walked into the Bar.I cast my gaze around the bar until I found the person who had called me earlier. I approached him and gave him a glare.
"What do you want, Xander?!" I said in a high-pitched tone.
"I just wanted to confess something." He said.
He looked at me with tired eyes. He slowly leans his head and looks me in the eyes. He looked at my lips before returning his gaze to my eyes.
"I like you, Gene." He said while looking at me.
I swallowed the lump of my throat and my heart keeps beating rapidly as I heard what he said.
"You're just joking, right? That's impossible! You like Nathan, not me!"
"But that's the truth, Gene! I like you a lot. Just give me a chance, Gene."
He said this as he grabbed my arms. He moved his face closer to mine and placed his right hand on my cheek. He locked his gaze on me and closed his eyes as he moved his face closer to mine. I forced my eyes closed and heard the massive beat of my heart.

I bite the inside of my cheek until I can feel his breath. But then a hand was blocked on our lips. I opened my eyes and saw Nathan giving Xander a deadly glare.
"Don't ever kiss my man, Xander. Or I'll beat you up t'ill you can't breath."
Nathan grabbed my arms and walked away, leaving Xander speechless. As we enter my unit, I can sense Nathan's anger. We entered my bedroom, and he shut the door. He pushed me into my bed while removing his shirt in front of me.
