everyone was confused about what that was, some still traumatized from what they saw, they fell silent as the video paused, the silence broke when someone decided to speak up
"is that a golden core..? said Lan Furen
everyone looked at the said Lan, then looked back at the screen
"A'niang seems right, the thing that Wen Qing is holding, does look like a golden core," said Lan Xichen, everyone's attention went back to the screen
Wen Ning was shown, wiping the tears and sweat off Wei Wuxian (okay that sounds wrong)
Wen Qing was then shown again, he was right next to Jiang Cheng, who was passed out, she looked at the man
"A'cheng? what is my son doing there with that Wen dogs?!" yelled Yu Ziyuan
everyone was indeed surprised at what sect leader Jiang is doing there

Everyone was shocked and confused, just what is happening, too many questions came to their mind, and focused back on the screen
"A'jie here," Wen Ning said bringing in his sister's medical supplies, he just nodded at her brother, and quickly sew Wei Wuxian's chest, she then got her medical needles and inject them into Wei Wuxian's neck, she was sweating, afraid to lose Wei Wuxian
Everyone was confused and what was happening to Wei Wuxian
"What happened to Wei Ying?" asked Lan Zhan worriedly, everyone was surprised the light-bearing of gusu was concerned for a demonic cultivator
"yes lady Qiao, what is happening to Wei-gongzi," Lan Xichen asked, he was concerned about him, he knew he was a good person
"worry not, I shall show you what happened after that night"
and with those words, the screen started to light up
'ugh my head hurts' Wei Wuxian thought, standing up from the bed, he tried standing up, when a hand holds him down "where do you think you're going with that condition" Wen Qing said in a strict voice "Qing-Jie I'm perfectly fine" he said trying to stand up, only getting a smack from Wen Qing "ahh alright I'll stay" Wei Ying said huffing
'Qing-Jie... he never called A'jie that, even though he wanted to' Jiang Cheng thought
"I'm glad he's fine," Yanli said her voice filled with relief
the Wei couples smiled that their kid is doing alright
"wait Qing-Jie did the operation go well," Wei Ying asked
"what does he mean by operation?" asked a cultivator from the Jiang sect
"yes it did, you self-sacrificed idiot," Wen Qing said, it was clear that she was mad at him, but she looked at him with a worried face "I'm going to be fine, I don't need my golden core, A'cheng needs it to be sect a leader anyways," Wei Ying said not caring at all
all the people in the room, went silent trying to process what Wei Wuxian means, suddenly it hits them
"wait the core that I have right now is WEI WUXIAN'S" Jiang Cheng yelled out
'no, no, no, no, no, h-he did that for me....' Jiang Cheng who was having a hard time with this, Yanli quickly pulled his brother tp a hug, whispering that it's going to be alright
after a few hours of break, the screen then lit up again

the people in the room, look at each other, they're finally gonna know the Yilling Patriarch learns demonic cultivation
"the screen shows Wei Wuxian sitting on a rock, waiting for someone when he suddenly heard a sound, he knows what it was he tried to run away but was blocked by Wen Zhuilo, the core melting hand, he tried to melt Wei Wuxian's cire, but he was shocked, there was no core in his body, at least not anymore, Wei Wuxian was pushed to the other side, which where he met Wen Chao's sword piercing through his body
He was pushed to the ground, Wen Chao pulled his hair and said the word that I forgot, Wen Chao carried Wei Wuxian towards the burial mounds, looked at him for the last time, and threw him off
everyone was shocked
"A'YING" yelled the Wei couple, who was distressed about what they have just seen, they're son went through too much pain
