I got in the water up to my waist. She was on my hip, splashing the water around us, giggling.
"You love the water, Princess." She vigorously nodded her head. As she splashes the water.
"Janet! The lifeguard said that we have to come in. The clouds are making up!" Joey yelled. I turned and looked up at the sky, and for sure, the clouds were turning a dark grey. I gave him a thumbs up.
"Princess, look up at the sky for me," I said, hoping she won't get too upset by the clouds. She looked up and tensed up immediately.
"Joey just told me we have to get out of the water since they think a storm is coming, okay?" she slowly nodded, still looking up at the sky. I got us out of the water, but Toni is still looking at the sky in fear.
