The clock mockingly chimed to my dismay

"I told you, it's either you, or your friend over there"

I looked up hopelessly, seeing the slick smile on his face made my blood boil, but I was too tired to do anything

A swift motion caused me to flinch

WHACK

She screams

I gasped quickly as the taste of blood and the tears in my eyes overwhelmed my senses

I spit the blood onto the floor and looked to him smiling

"I still got..a couple teeth in here.
....i think you.... missed some" I said softly gasping for air between words

He scoffed and quickly jabbed a dagger into my leg, she sobbed as i winced and lowered my head

"You said...m-me or her...right..?" I asked, still looking down

"Yes" I could hear his smile

I felt the sickly consistently of tears mixed with blood and saliva in my mouth as I began

"Kill me then..bitch" I smiled challengingly

As if he were a chained dog suddenly set free, he took a bottle and smashed it on my head, before I could react, he sliced across my stomach

As the pain sept in, I felt the chair being pushed back and my head violently hitting the ground

I began to take my last round of breaths

She jolted towards me, eyes puffy from crying, holding either sides of my face

She begged

I just couldn't understand her

Mumbles

I didnt want to leave her

I could feel the blood leaving my body

The warmth surrounding me as I became cold inside

Like a pool rapidly emptying out

I finally understood

What she said

I smiled
