Today Ye ri comes to hospital with Mi'lle underwent the cordocentesis test,namely taking a sample of her baby's blood through the umbilical cord to check the severity of her baby anemia was suffering from.

Cordocentesis, also known as percutaneous umbilical blood sampling, is a diagnostic prenatal test. During cordocentesis, an ultrasound transducer is used to show the position of the fetus and umbilical cord on a monitor. Then a fetal blood sample is withdrawn from the umbilical cord for testing.

Suga already waited for him in dr Louis room.

And before doing this test,dr Louis already have her glutacortoid to stimulate lung maturity before performing the corsdocentesis test.

Ye ri laid on the ward and becomes regret for being stubborn before,and the consequence is high risked herlife now.
And dr Louis begin the procedure to taking the baby blood sample.

Ye ri waited thirty minutes before giving the antibiotic injection to prevent infection that would occur during her baby's blood sampling.
Initially the nurse applied cold gel over Ye ri stomach, then dr Louis directed the transducer on his ultrasound device to find the position of the baby in Ye ri's stomach.
With the help of an ultrasound beam, dr. Louis inserted a 20 spinal needle into Ye ri's abdominal wall and injected it directly into her uterus.

Suga keep watching how his freind doing the test.
He can't stopped his heartbeat,but why..??

"Fuck..what is it..??why I can feel happy and worried after seeing the fetus shape over the USG monitor..??"Suga mumbled silently.

"This is the feel for being father to be..?"

After getting the position of the baby's umbilical cord, dr Louis then pulled the blood out of the syringe, and Ye ri felt excruciating cramps.
The blood that enters the needle is taken as needed according to the sample needs.
Blood from the needle that is pulled out is put into a tube containing an anticoagulant to prevent blood clots from forming.

"This is the most accurate test to determine the severity of anemia experienced by the baby..." said dr Louis when explaining to Suga and Ye ri.

If the results are alpha thalassemia major, then you must prepare mentally."

Suga and Ye ri couldn't say anything at this point before Ye ri finally started asking questions.

"Why doc...? can't it be helped...?"

dr Louis shook his head in despair.

"No..because in Alpha major there is no Alpha gene at all in Alpha globin which is when it is needed in the development of the fetus ... because it is feared that the baby will not be able to survive after being outside the mother's womb.."dr Louis said and paused for a moment before continuing his words.

"I can't aborted the baby and not can't giving birth...this baby is seriously disable,isn't it..?"

"I'll not run from my responsible as the father until the baby was born...!"

Ye ri stunned for a moment to disgest the sentences from Suga.

"This man will take responsible as the father..?"

Ye ri and Miller back to SYM building and she looks surprised with someone presencing who is seated pretty over her working table.
