Being the honorary knight and also a hero of two nations can be very difficult, especially when your boyfriend is a Scholar from Sumeru Academia and you two rarely see each other. But some days, once you two do make time all the stress seems to dispel. And today was that day.. except.. .. Y/n was assigned with a ton of commissions..

"Right.. I wish you well Ella!! Don't go running into a hilichurl camp!!" Y/n waved as Ella Musk had finished one of her Hilichurlian poet. Y/n looked at their paper and checked off yet another commission and began reading the last one..

"Three down.. one more to go.." Y/n sighed as they made their way towards the city of Mondstadt to meet a certain Chief Alchemist. As Y/n stepped foot on the concrete bridge they noticed Timmie feeding the pigeons as usual, they ignored him for now but tomorrow.. those pigeons will no longer be there.

"Good Afternoon, Honorary Knight" Swan and Lawrence both say as they gave them a bow.

"Good Afternoon" Y/n replied back with a small wave before stepping inside the gates, suddenly a strong scent of Sticky Honey Roast filled the air as well as fresh flowers flora had recently picked. Kids ran around with tiny windmills which caught the wind making it twirl around, The merchants were trading and people even from Liyue came to visit. Mondstadt really is home. As Y/n was making their way up the stairs a familiar voice called out to them..

"Y/n.." They stopped and turned around to find Cyno leaning against a tree, this surprised Y/n as they usually never see him outside of Sumeru..

"..Cyno?! What are you doing here?" Y/n walked up to him and he gave them a kiss on the cheek.

"Well.. I have a week off today.. So I went to the guild to ask where you were.. and they told me you were doing a commission in Mondstadt so logically I came to find you.." Cyno gently smiled.

"Oh? well.. I have one more commission to do.." Y/n sighed as they really wanted to spend the day with him.

"That's alright.. Let me accompany you then.." Cyno slipped his hands onto theirs as Y/n nodded and began leading Cyno to the fountain plaza. 

Y/n noticed Timaeus and Sucrose examining something on the crafting bench as the two began walking closer. Sucrose noticed Y/n's figure and quickly ran behind the building and into a room which confused Y/n slightly..

"Hey Timaeus.. Why did Sucrose ran off?" Y/n greeted themselves as Timaeus looked up from the crafting bench.
