SPLASH!
Wide awake! You're definitely wide awake now. Phew, you didn't expect the tap water to be that cold in the airport bathroom, but it definitely did its job of jolting you away from your somnolence. The bags under your eyes were very visible, but why didn't you just stay home anyways? It wasn't for another few months that you would have had to go to Japan, and now you were beginning to regret your decision to come along.
"Hurry up, (Y/n)!" The loud booming voice just outside the bathroom called out to you. "We'll miss the flight if you're too slow!"
Groaning in exasperation, you huff out: "The boarding... hasn't even been announced yet accidenti! Why did we have to be four hours early anyway!?(ꐦ𝅒_𝅒)"
With a sigh, you tiredly gave yourself a once over. The black shirt you were wearing was a bit wrinkled, seeing as you just hurriedly put on whatever you could since you were woken up very late. Your green jacket was positively vibrant with the white checkered top hat emblem on the right side with a white stripe running through it. You wore a cross bag as well, with an intricate watch on your wrist as the last piece of accessory you had with you. Lastly, your eyes lingered on the birthmark just under your eye, a purple triangle, same as your grandmother.
Well, all that mattered was you were looking positively handsome today, save for the fact that the eyebags under your eyes made you look tired, but hey, it could still be aesthetically pleasing to someone. Adjusting the clothes on your back, you turn the bezel on your watch as you felt warmth coat your entire being. Perfect. Finally finished with your business in the bathroom, you exit it to be greeted to the sight of your grand godfather.
Joseph Joestar, aged sixty-nine. Wearing a trench coat with a turtleneck underneath, he sported khaki pants and carried a leather briefcase along with him. He looked quite dapper in his clothes, with his white gloves being held in place by dark wristbands. Rather than a frail old man that you'd expect from someone as old as him, he was massive, almost as though he's been going to the gym his entire life and never stopped. You never did understand the secret to his great musculature, but you were plenty satisfied with how you were anyways.
"If I may, grande padrino, is there any reason as to why we're going to Japan so much earlier?" You yawn out, stretching your body to make it a little more limber. "I understand that there is a need for me to inspect the area I will be moving to, however it isn't for a whole 'nother year before I have to go-"
CRASH!
Suddenly, your conversation was interrupted when a man with a large, heavy suitcase rolled into your grande padrino's foot and hitting him in the shin. Joseph dropped his briefcase in surprise, before the pain registered and he held onto his shin in pain.
"Oh, I bumped you. Are you okay?" The man asked, though by the tone of his voice you immediately felt that he was not in the least bit apologetic. "Oh, dear. You should watch where you're going."
