Sick days

Chapter 2

A few hours later and Sonic was already asleep as Shadow was in the kitchen getting medicine. "I wonder how he got sick in the first place" The Ebony hedgehog mumbled as he walked to the blue hedgehog's room, he placed the small bottle of medicine on the table and sat down closing his eyes going into slumber. The Azure hedgehog had woke up after a few minutes looking around the room. "Huh-" The blue hedgehog yawned and sneezed covering their mouth not wanting to wake up the sleeping hedgehog on the other side of the room. "This isn't how I wanted to spend my summer" Sonic got up and went to the bathroom brushing his teeth and taking his medicine that Tails told him to take everytime he woke up. "I wonder how Tails is doing, probably working on something in his workshop" Sonic shrugged and took a book from his bookshelf and sat down to read. He heard a knock on the door which startled him and woke up Shadow shortly after, Sonic froze to see Amy with a lot of bags. "Sonic! How are you doing, i brought gifts!"

The pink hedgehog raised all of the bags as she looked at the terrified hedgehog happily. "What are you doing here, Rose." Shadow looked at the pink hedgehog with a deathly glare. "I gave to take care of Sonic, Shadow, I was worried what u would do to him" She scoffed and looked at Sonic smiling brightly as Sonic gave a nervous smile. "Shadow didn't do anything to me, Amy" The azure hedgehog said as he rubbed the back of his head nervously smiling. Shadow left giving a sign to Sonic as good luck as he smirked. "Oh chaos.." Sonic mumbled quietly so no one heard. "Sonic, you'll get better soon if I'm taking care of you!" Amy had medicine in her hand as she signaled Sonic to lay down.

Tails walked into Sonic's room. "Oh, I see Amy had to come take care of you huh Sonic" the two tailed kit smirked as he chuckled. "Oh, hey tails! Shadow already left when I got here" Sonic covered his mouth almost vomiting the medicine Amy gave him. "Amy, you said it tasted good!" Sonic blurted as he gagged. "Sonic, the worse the taste is, the better it helps" The pink hedgehog looked at Sonic as she rubbed his back for comfort. "I'll leave you two alon-" Tails was cut off as Sonic quietly shouted only for tails to hear. "Tails, Don't leave me with Amy please!" The two tailed fox looked angry and blurted. "Amy take good care of Sonic" A small smirk could be seen on the two tailed kit before leaving. "I will!" Amy replied looking at sonic smiling brightly. "I guess I can stay with you a little longer Sonic" the blue hedgehog Sighed in defeat. After a few hours it was now dark as the pink hedgehog got up. "I'll leave now Sonic, I hope you feel better" She smiled before leaving. Sonic sighed in relief as he layed down looking at the ceiling. "I wished I didn't spend my Summer sick in bed.." He said before falling asleep cuddling a pillow.
