The Crescent Moon Night

The clock was striking at seven, meanwhile, Phoebe was anxiously bursting inside her room. With worry, searching for an impeccable ball nightdress. Trying to search every bit of her closet for her special night at the William house. While she was worriedly looking at the lamp and was talking to her best friend for help suddenly the doorbell rang. She hung up the call and went on to open the double-glazed door. As she opened it, astonishingly no one was there. All she could see was a huge square-shaped box wrapped elegantly with golden shining paper. Besides the huge square-shaped box, there was a small rectangular box attached to it. Phoebe was stunned.

When phoebe opened the box, she was dazzled, to see an immensely magnificent ball gown. The gown had a beautiful lace design and was lavender in colour which could easily win any girls heart. Phoebe had gone nuts. All she could think was to wear them.

It was eight pm. She was ready for the night, Standing on the porch of her house. Waiting for Tristian to escort her.

At last, Tristian showed up, dressed in a black suit, wearing an antique watch, again black. Tristian was in awe of how exquisite Phoebe was looking. Tristian said, Youre looking beautiful more than my expectations, as I had thought you would while wearing this gown. Phoebe could not imagine that this gown was a gift from him.

Tristian turned on the radio, to country music. Tristian could judge by looking at Phoebes face she was not enjoying listening to country music. He said, Seems like youre not enjoying the song. She said, Oh, its nothing like that. Tristian replied while rolling his eyes, Oh cmon I can always tell when youre lying. Phoebe blushed. Tristian switched to pop music. Phoebes mood instantly turned on. She started vibing to the song. Tristian kept on looking at her. Phoebe asked, What? What is that look for? He replied, Well, I happen to enjoy you.

Phoebe started blushing. Tristian added, I fancy you. Is that so hard to believe? Phoebe looked in his eyes and turned back. She did not speak a word throughout the whole time until they reached their destination.

At last, they had reached the concert hall organised by Williams. Phoebe was trying her best to stay away from Tristian. She was afraid that she would do anything clumsy. But, at last, Tristian came up to her and asked her while holding her hand, May I? Phoebe could not resist.

As they both were dancing, Tristian said, I am sorry for what happened to your dad. Phoebe frustratingly said, O, please dont even get started! She could not answer these anymore, she was fed up.

Tristian did not want to ruin her night, he said, On to more mannered subjects then. Like how ravishing you look in that dress. She responded after taking some while, I did not had time to shop. Tristian smiled. He said, Then whats your excuse for wearing that bracelet which I gave you? Phoebe stood dumbstruck. Surprised. Confused and not knowing what to say. Until the clock struck Ten, it was time for her to go home. But she had to confess, what she had been thinking of the whole night.

Just as soon as Phoebe was about to confess her feelings for him, Tristian could not wait for any more, so he started to speak, Phoebe, I want to tell you something. I have been hiding this for over a month now but the time has come. As you know how passionate I am about music, and how much I adore playing the piano. Since I was ten, I always wanted to visit Austria and pursue my dream. The time has come Phoebe, I have a train tomorrow. Phoebe could not bear this truth. She turned her back towards Tristian. Tristian stood there not knowing what to say, what to do.

While holding Phoebes hand, Tristian said, I know you have feelings for me. He took a pause and said, And let me tell you this, I have always adored you since the first day I saw you. I have never seen a girl like you who is brave, passionate and so kind to this egocentric world. Meanwhile, Phoebe tried her best to hold her tear but she could not. A girl like Phoebe, could not bear so much pain, her tears came rolling down her cheeks from her almond-shaped eyes.

Tristian could not see her in so much pain and agony. He came closer to her, held her waist, and gave a gentle kiss on her cheeks. He held her in a warm embrace and said, Miss Phoebe Andrea Marshall, I was honoured to share this beautiful and young night with you. I will be back very soon. Keep writing me letters.

Till that night, Phoebe had never thought that the phrase Time is eternal for those who love. by William Shakespeare is true.
