Full Moon

"Our relationship has been made public by an unknown media outlet."

I told Leni while holding my phone as I started seeing people pointing and looking at us. Panic surrounds me as their whispers become loud for us to hear.

"You trust me, right?"

Leni's voice snapped me back to reality as she extended her hand to me while we attract people that are forming a circle around us. I looked at her and see the determination in her eyes as I grabbed her hand.

"Let's get out of here, Theresia."

It was all a blur. The only thing clear in my mind was my hand with hers.

"Just follow me."

Only hearing her voice amidst the crowd, I firmly gripped her hand and never let go. Not caring about the people surrounding us. My heart swells with just the thought of it.

Not a moment later we're now in a bridge walking with a full moon above us. I guess Leni forgot she's still holding my hand even without the crowd but I don't mind it. I love this feeling.

"Look at how beautiful the moon is, darling."

I nudged her as I looked up pointing at the moon while still holding her hand.

"It sure is."

Then I saw her staring at me and smiling.

"Leonor! Did you even look at it?"

I teased as she immediately averted her eyes at me then looked up. Without her noticing, I never left my gaze as her eyes twinkle in the moonlight. Just for a moment we could forget everything and enjoy each other's company. Ah how I love this woman.

"What's gonna happen to us now?"
