Scott,Kira and Hope quickly ran into the classroom.

Mr. and Mrs. Yukimura were there, attacked by Void.

"Kira, did you bring it?" Mrs. Yukimura asked.

"You going to tell me what it is?" Kira said giving her a bottle.

"Reishi." Mrs. Yukimura answered opening the bottle.

"You're not seriously giving dad magic mushrooms?" Kira raised her eyebrows.

Mrs. Yukimura gave the reishi to Mr. Yukimura. He started coughing and spat something black into a napkin.

"Are you okay?" Mrs. Yukimura asked helping him up and he nodded.

"Stiles did this?" Scott asked disappointed.

"He wanted the last kaiken. I've kept this near me ever since your friend disappeared" Mrs. Yukimura replied with blade in her hand.

"Mom, you need to talk to us, about everything." Kira said.

Scott took a photo out of his pocket and handed it to her.

"Where did you get this?" Mrs. Yukimura asked taking the photo from him.

"Is it grandma?" Kira asked.

"No. It's me." She replied.

"If that's you, then you'd have to be like 90 years old." Scott said.

"Close to 900." She corrected him.

They all looked at her shocked.

"Are you a vampire?" Hope asked.

They all looked at her confused.

Kira sighed and handed the katana to her mother. Mrs. Yukimura opened it and pieces of the blade fell from it.

"The blade was shattered the last time it was used." Mrs. Yukimura said.

"When was that?" Kira asked.

"1943. Against the nogitsune." She replied.

"All this happended before?" Hope asked.

"Yes."

"Those who cannot remember the past are condmned to repeat it." Mr. Yukimura said.

"Where did it come from?" Kira asked.

"It was an internment camp during World War 2. In Oak Creek. Not too far from here." Mrs. Yukimura said.

"Hold on. You told Allison and Isaac that there was no interment camp at Oak Creek." Scott said looking at Mr. Yukimura.

"Allison's family has a certain history of violence. I didn't know if she could be trusted. There was a camp, yes. But all the records were erased." He said.

"They covered it up."

"When I was a grad student, my passion project, actually more like an obsession, was trying to dig up the truth on Oak Creek. It's how I met your mother, Kira." Mr. Yukimura said.

He put several photos on the desk. Hope looked at them, one caught her eye immediately. A photo of burned man full of bandages.

"So, where did the nogitsune come from?" Kira asked.

"Isn't it obvious yet? It came from me." Mrs. Yukimura replied.

[...]

Mrs. Yukimura put the pieces on the table, she arranged it to the shape of the original katana.

"Kira, I need your help on this. There isn't much time. And this is something that needs to be done in the daylight." She said.

"Not until you tell us everything." Kira said crossing her arms.
