Hi I'm Poppy Clifton a fifteen year old living in Manhattan, New York City. I originally lived in England, but we moved to New York in April, so I'm a bit behind everyone else. Being the new girl at school isn't exactly the easiest thing as it comes with so many expectations. Your first day at school is insanely important as it is where everyone gets to define you on the impression you make. It's the day where you find out that you'll either be going out to parties every weekend and sitting at the center table of the cafeteria, or spending lunchtimes alone at a vacant table hidden away in a little corner and spending your weekends with your face stuck in a textbook. At my old school I was just another regular teenage girl at school, I wasn't popular or nerdy, just in the middle, but now that I'm getting a fresh start where no one and I mean like no one, well except for my family, know anything about me and my past, I want to make an absolutely unforgettable first impression. I want to fit in and for once in my life, be POPULAR!!!!!!!! So here's my story on how my life in New York began:
