Cassie and Caroline have the typical sister relationship fighting over dresses taking each others makeup. Anything you could think of. But there was nobody on this planet who would fight for Cassie like Caroline. Cassie adored her older sister she followed her almost everywhere she went from the time she could walk, so imagine how hurt she felt we she found out she everyone she loved had been lying to her about the supernatural world.

Cassie and Liz had the mother Daughter Caroline wanted, but since there mom worked so much Cassie was okay with only seeing her twice a day as long as she ate and was happy Caroline used to resent their mom for there dad leaving, Cassie didn't she missed her dad of course she did every teenage girl does. But she didn't think it was her moms fault "everything happens for a reason" as Cassie says. Sometimes on Liz's day off she would have girl talk with her mom and talk about whatever happened during the week.

Cassie was her fathers Daughter some facial expressions Cassie would make her dad did too, people used to say they were so alike that's why they didn't get along most of the time, but those other times are the ones that Cassie loved the most. But for Cassie's seventeenth birthday her dad gave her his fathers 1960's purple Cadillac Eldorado which made all there fights and arguments seem to disappear she loved her car and her dad for giving it to her.

First Cassie meet Stefan and Damon when she was going to have dinner with Elena Bonnie and Caroline was dating Damon she was sixteen. Back then Damon didn't really care for Cassie, she was just Caroline's little sister But Cassie turned out to be so much more than that to him she was his best friend (of course she didn't understand a lot because she didn't know about the supernatural world) Stefan gave Cassie this little charm bracelet and every time then every time something important happens in her life good or bad he'd give her another charm, he gave her the bracelet after winning miss mystic falls, he said the each charm can represent something to her the bracelet was going after something she wanted for years, and the second was a charm symbolized forgiveness to her, but then all of a sudden he stopped talking to her avoided her because he thought he was trying to protect her. No goodbye no text messages no nothing just a charm he left on her bed. Damon was there for her the whole time eating ice cream and binge watching tv shows.
