KOTLC Sleepover

The Plan

~~Sophie~~

"OMG I JUST HAD THE BEST IDEA" Keefe screamed, while nearly knocking over the table at Foxfire. It was lunch, and Sophie had no idea why they were even still at school. With all of the chaos happening around, and the Neverseen still trying to prove they're right. "WE SHOULD HAVE A SLEEPOVER!!!!!" It was clear Keefe was just trying to indirectly convince everyone to play truth or dare, but a sleepover did in fact sound fun. Sophie didn't want to agree, of course, she was the Moonlark and didn't have time for such activities.

She had just gotten one of the members of Neverseen captive, after they failed drastically at an attack at Foxfire. The neverseen didn't know that Sophie had 50 new goblin bodyguards around the campus, and they managed to capture one of the members.

When Sophie was about to pull out a fifth eyelash, Fitz said, "I think it would be a good idea to have a sleepover- especially to get our minds off of .. everything." Linh and Biana nodded in agreement, so Sophie just sighed and said that they could go.

All of a sudden the group had a plan of going for a sleepover at Everglen, leaving at 5:00 PM and then staying until 10:00 AM. Sophie leapt back to Havenfield to pack some items, and after discussing the plan with Grady and Edaline, her adoptive parents, Sophie got an okay for going. During the entire conversation Grady gave Sophie a side eye, and Edaline was trying to hide her excitement. Edaline decided it was a great idea, and then went up to Sophie's room to pack for her.

"Are you sure you should be doing this?" Grady asked, trying to get Sophie to back down. "We have a Neverseen member in our custody, and you'd be sleeping in a room.. With.. boys..."

Sophie rolled her eyes, and Grady just sighed. "Hail us if you need anything." Sophie nodded as she went upstairs to grab her bags, which Edaline had packed perfectly.

"Oh wow- thanks mom!" Sophie said while grabbing the bags and placing them by the stairs. She decided she wanted to look a tad bit better because she knew Fitz was going to be there.. So she went into her closet and put on a red tunic with shimmery gold embroidery.

Sophie went back downstairs, to the leap master, and then leaped over to Everglen.

Apart from the few times she stayed at Solreef with Wylie, Linh had never actually been to a real sleepover, so naturally she was both excited and worried. She wanted to have lots of fun, but also wanted to make sure it went well so everyone had fun.

"Ugh are you ready yet?" Tam said impatiently while knocking on her bedroom door. "We're gonna be late if you keep at it.

"GIVE ME A MINUTE!" Linh screamed back, while deciding which tunic to wear. She decided on a silvery blue one, which matched her eye color, and it had white embroidery in the shape of mini flowers. She grabbed a hair-tie right after and put her hair up into a ponytail. Tam had been waiting outside of her room, wearing a black jerkin with black bottoms, to complete his normal edgy and emo look.

"Took ya long enough," Tam said, checking the time. "We gotta be there within 2 minutes."

"Since when did you care about being late??" Linh retorted, while raising an eyebrow. "Hey do you think we should invite Wylie? I bet he would love to come to this sleepover!"

Tam just sighed and went up to Wylies room and grabbed him by the arm, dragging him outside and then grabbing onto Linh and holding up the leaping crystal, taking them away to Everglen.
