ACTION || Chapter 3

In the evening, everyone was getting ready for the wedding the next day. It was a pretty busy evening, the decorations were up already. Ashley was looking at Night, she was in her wedding dress to see if it fitted right, in her mind she was imagining her in that dress. "Norah.." Ashley said to Night as she was still in the dress. Night looked over and saw Ashley, "What do you want after you tried stealing my finance. That was bad.. I can tell you have a crush on him, but you have to learn that he's taken.. Now what do you want?" She started crying, "Why are you crying now?" Night said stubbornly. Ashley looked up at Night, "Norah... I'm really sorry... I just.. It just... hurts to see him move on without me." Ashley said. Night was looking at herself in the mirror, and looked down at Ashley, "Look Ashley. I'm sorry that you feel this way. I could tell that you have feelings for CV, do you want to marry him?" Night said. Ashley stopped crying and looked up at Night, "Norah.. I can't. You look more beautiful than me in that dress, besides, you deserve this.. You really do, and he deserves you," Ashley was looking up at Night, "Ashley.." Night got down from the petastule, touched Ashley's shoulder, she lifted her head and hugged her. "What..?" Ashley said as she looked at Night. "It's fine Ashley, just be yourself. That's it, just yourself, you'll find someone to find forever with," Night said. Clare came in and said it was time for bed. They all go ready for bed, Night couldn't sleep that night. "She got up from her bed and walked to CV's bedroom and laid with him. She also saw another person on the ground, laying on an air mattress. She walked over to the person, got her phone flashlight, turned it on and shined it on the person. It was CV's little sister that had to go to college, she came back to see his older brother get married. Night woke up CV, "CV, who's this girl," CV woke up, "It's just my little sister to see the wedding tomorrow." Night was relieved, "Can I sleep with you?" looking at CV, he nodded and Night started to fall asleep in CV's arms.

The next morning, CV's little sister Jade was looking at CV. He woke up, "Good morning brother CV." CV was looking at Jade, "Hey Jade, are you ready for today?" CV said while getting up slowly so he didn't wake up Night. "Who's that CV?" Jade looking at Night, "That's my finance, Norah." CV said while waking up Night. She slowly opened up her eyes, she turned around in bed, and hugged CV. "Morning," Night yawed. Clare came into the room to get Night, "Sis, I've been worried, the girls and I were looking for you, and you were in here the whole time. Had a feeling, now let's go Night." Clare said. Night got up and stood for a second, she started to walk, but kissed CV before she left. "EWWWWW!! That was gross!" Jade said, CV and Night laughed then she started to walk off with Clare, "So, is that your forever with, I'm guessing?" Jade said, looking at CV, "Yeah, isn't she beautiful.?" CV said looking at the door, Jade looking at the ground, "Yup. Very. But my boyfriend has a surprise for me, I don't know what it is, but he said it was going to be special." Jade smiled, CV nodded, he asked her if he wanted to help him get ready, she nodded and they both got ready.

Night and the others were getting ready. "Clare, could you help me?" Night asked Clare, she walked over and helped her, "So.. are you excited? I mean this is a big day for us." Clare said while looking at Night in the mirror. Night was sitting in a chair, she leaned her head back, to look at her sister, "This is going to be a big change. We got this, this "wedding" is going to be good for the whole kingdom. Also us.. Let's just make sure we both don't change." Clare looked out the window, then looked at Sydney and Kaitlyn. She takes a deep breathe, "Alright, let's have you get into your wedding dress." Clare said while looking at the dress. Night stood up from the chair, she got into her dress. Clare was stressed so she pulled the strings on her dress tight. "C-Clare, I-I cant b-breath," Night trying to get air. "Gash! Sorry Night." She untightens the dress and tightens where Night could breathe. "Thanks Clare," Night said, she turns around and hugs Clare, she was surprised as she hugged her sister back. Clare took a breath, and looked at the time. It was time, so Sydney, Kaitlyn, Clare, and Night walked down the stairs. All of them got to the door, surprisingly the doors started to open. Which scared the girls, Kaitlyn started to walk onto the isle first, then Sydney, then Clare. Night took a few breaths, trying to walk out and onto the aisle. A girl named Rebecca that was running late, walked to Night. "Are you the Bride? Norah.. Right?" Night looked at her, Rebecca was Night's age though. "Yes, yes I am." Her hands started to shake, Rebecca noticed and held her hands to stop the shakiness of her hands. "Look at me Norah, you are going to go out there, and walk down that aisle. You got this." Rebecca walked in quietly and sat down. The doors opened for Night, she started to walk down the aisle. Everyone started to stand up, music started to play. Night started to walk down, almost trapping but she caught herself. In her mind she was saying, "Good thing I caught myself.. This dress has a really long train. Just keep on going, of course hundreds of people are looking. Heh-" She finally got to the altar. Everyone sat down. James, the king at the moment, was marrying the two, "CV Adams, do you take Norah Dark, as your wife? If you do say your vows as well," CV took a ring from a pillow on a stand right beside him from a stand. He put the ring onto her finger, "I do. I will help you through whatever you need. You're the person I fell in love with. I want to be there every moment of life with you, till we die. I want to grow a family with you. Raise our kids together, but I promise, if I'm mad It has nothing to do with you. I'll remember our secrets, our jokes, but mostly who I love the most in this entire world." CV looked at Night and smiled, Night also got a ring and put it on CV's finger, "I do. I promise I will not be perfect. I will always try my best to make you happy. You're always my first love, but I will always have another. Called our kids." They both laughed a bit, "You are the perfect husband I need. So kind, generous, gentle, and also great with kids. I will also keep our jokes, secrets, but mostly.. How we do things." They both laughed a bit more, CV started to tear up, Night was just smiling. "Now, you may kiss the bride," James said. CV took Night at the waist, and kissed her. Clare started to cry, so did Kaitlyn and Sydney. CV's friends Ivan, Logan, and Noah started to cheer for him.

Later that day, at the reception, Jade's boyfriend Oliver got everyone's attention. "Hello? I'm sorry to take the attention from the bride and groom, but I want to propose to my amazing girlfriend." He got onto his knee, he reached into his pocket, got the ring out. "Jade Adams, will you marry me?" Jade started to cry, but it was a happy cry. Night looked at the crown, it was surprisingly out. She quietly walked over there, took the crown and put the crown on her head. A flash of magic went shining. Everyone turned around, James got mad. "So.. You are Night! The lost princess. You lair! I did let you marry my son!" He got his dagger out, almost hitting Night, but a shield around her, made James go flying. "Night!" CV went running to her, "What were you thinking! Are you hurt?" Night looked at Prince CV. "I'm fine, honestly." She touches her necklace, everybody is staring at Night. People start talking, "Night, it's really you!" People started to say, "You're going to help us, right?" Elijah walked in, which is Night's dad. She takes off her necklace, "OFF WITH HER HEAD" Blaire said having the guards latch her behind bars, in the dungeon. "Mom.. Please don't do this! She's my girlfriend!" CV said, while looking at his mother. He took Blaire's arm, "Mom.. Please.." CV said almost whimpering, Blaire looked at his face, then at Night. "Let her go. She's a part of the family." The guards let Night go, James got up from passing out. He got his dagger and went at Night, but before he could do that, he Night took off her necklace and threw it to the ground. A big flash of light, and there you knew it. Night's mother, Patricia, "Night and Clare, you made it this far. Oh, I see you guys must be doing good, if you're seeing this. Something has happened to me, the king that stole our kingdom, he took everything we have, but you must know this by now, because you guys are all grown up. Night, if you are 18 or older than 18, take the crown. And say these words." CV walked over to Night, Clare started to ball. Everyone else was amazed that the two princesses were still alive. "I WAS RIGHT! YOU GUYS SHOULD HAVE LISTENED IT ME!!" The baker was there, Night and CV laughed. "Are you ready Night?" Patricia said, Night nodded while her mother started to say the words. She started saying the words, "This is preposterous! I said for you to kill her CV, so you're going to have me do it, your own father. I raised you to fight, not falling in love with our enemy!" James ran up and threw his dagger toward Night's stomach, he broke the shield, basically stabbed her. "Night! Why... Why would you do that!" CV caught her before she could fall to the floor. "Hey.. CV? It's fine," she took the dagger out her stomach, the magic of the crown healed her. Carefully, she got up. "See? I'm fine!" Night said. CV went over to his father, got a sword from a guard. "If you want to get to Night, you'll have to get through your own son," CV looked dead serious, his eyes had changed color, from a blue-ish, gray-ish to pitch black. Eye color changing was infrequent. This hasn't happened for 5 generations. The lamp started to flicker, one second after that everything started to flicker. "CV, your eye color! It's changing!" Clare said, he looked at her, "What? What do you mean?" CV was confused, he shrugged it off, soon after the black started to spread. "CV! THE BLACK IS SPREADING! I think that's bad, please don't do this." Night yelled, CV looked at her, she walked over. Night hugged him, but it was a little late. Someone else already took over Princes CV's body. He pushed Night, "Who are you peasants?" The devil said, Night was confused, "Come on CV, stop playing around, you already know I'm your girlfriend." The devil looked at Night, "Sorry babe, I was just playing." CV said, while pulling Night in, kissing her on the head. "Guards, take away the king!" Blaire said the guards took away James. Clare pulled Night over for a second, "I think it's cool his eyes are black, like amazing!" Clare looked at Night excited, she looked up CV, "Yah, it is." Night went to hug CV, but then before she could, he turned into the devil. "Hey CV- uhm- are you okay?"
