Dinner was quite enjoyable and interesting.
Few jokes here and there, conversations and little food tricks.
Honestly I could get use to this lifestyle.
So much light and laughter,piece and happiness has always been what I wanted for my family.
My muscles tensed at the word 'family'.
Family.
I tried to hold back my tears as I recalled my past.
'Mom'.
I had so many 'What if' questions.
What if I wasn't born with a pale skin.
What if my skin was tan like my mom's.
What if I had resembled my Dad?. Would he have loved me?.
What if I was strong enough back then?
Would Mom still be alive?.
What if I wasn't born a white wolf. Would things have been different?
*Growling*
'Sorry Snow'.
'Thou shall not blame thyself for what we have no control of. Godess chose thee. Thy past may be hurtful but our future will be bright. Move on, do not let the past ruin thy good present. We have cursed said Pack and Godess still punishes them as we speak. Our Mate and new Pack are our family now'.
'You're right'. I said with a smile.
'Snow,sometimes I feel so lucky to have you'.
*Scoffs*
'Sometimes?!'.
I chuckled. 'Yes sometimes. You really need to change your way of speech. I mean you mostly speak old English and mix it with the current one'.
'We will try and learn new English'.
I laughed.
I could feel Snow's smirk through our bound.
'What?'.
'Look around'.
And I did.
Everything looked and felt normal. Pack members talking and laughing.
'There's nothing-'
That's when my eyes locked with two hungry forest green ones.
They stared at me like a piece of meat. I almost felt undressed.
I also felt this strange butterfly feeling.
Does that make me sound weird?
His eyes explored every single part until it ended looking at my lips. To make matters worse I decided to tease him a little. Holding up the spoon, I brought it to my lips. His eye narrowed as he watch me taste the soup. I intentionally let a drop run down my lips and leaked it slowly. His nails scratched the poor chair's handles.
'You're gonna wish you didn't teased me'. He mind linked.
'Huh?'.
Before I could even respond, we heard howling and barking outside.
"Rouges. All Pack members except the old and pups stay, the rest come with me". Damien stood up from his chair and walked left, most of us followed.
