Elsa's POV

Getting out was a lot easier than getting in. Maybe Pitch forgot about us? Maybe he was busy giving nightmares? Either way, we were out. Me and Jack hand in hand trying to get back to the pole.

Jack was still weak and couldn't fly us anywhere, but I was okay with that. I helped Jack out of the forest and a house was there. Luckily.

"Jack, come on, we're almost there. Please Jack."

Jack gasped but started to walk again. I put his arm around my shoulders to carry his weight and we kept walking.

I got into the building and immediately got help with Jack. While the man got Jack, I was told to follow the man with Jack so I did.

Jack was put on the bed to rest and I paid the man. Eventually, a women came to the room and asked if I wanted food. I nodded and followed her downstairs.

"Thank you." I told the man as I passed the stairs.

He nodded at me and I continued to follow the women to the kitchen.

"Here." She passed me a plate of food and I ate it straight away forgetting how hungry I was.

"Thank you ma'am." I told her as I finished my food. I smiled at her and helped put the dishes away. I was really grateful.

"Alice, you can call me Alice. The man outside is my brother, Hatter." Alice said with an outstretched hand and returning my smile.

"I'm Elsa. The boy upstairs is Jack." I told Alice shaking the hand. I handed her some money for the keep and spent some of the night telling her my story.

Well, most of it.
I obviously left out the part about Pitch and the Guardians, but I said I was kidnapped then rescued by Jack. However, he got caught but we escaped.

"Ah, you poor thing, you have had a hard time, please, go and sleep, after what happened, you need your rest. But take this for your friend." She handed me a plate of food for Jack.

"Thank you Alice." She smiled as I headed upstairs to mine and Jack's room. When I entered, Jack was awake. I handed him the plate and he greedily ate it. I giggled and he smiled at me.

I then looked at the clock and saw that it was nearly midnight. My eyes widened and I suddenly felt my legs go weak. I was about to fall to the floor, but Jack caught me.

"Hey Els, you alright?" He asked with concern.

I nodded "yeah, just tired I guess." I said holding my head. Jack then moved up on the bed to make space for me. I hesitated, but soon laid down on the bed next to him.
I placed my head on his chest and he wrapped an arm around me, "Jack?"

"Yeah?" He whispered.

"I love you."

And before he could say anything, my eyelids closed and I was forced into a deep sleep.

Alice's POV

The plan was working. I gave her the food, she shouldn't wake up till the morning if Jack fails, but if he succeeds, then she won't wake up at all.

"Hatter, get portal call open."

With that, my brother used his special tea to contact Pitch. Yes, we work with the boogieman, Gaston and Scar will go after her again if we fail, I'm just glad Jack's on our side, Hatter opened the call.

"Sir, I gave Elsa the root, she shouldn't wake up for 10 hours if Jack fails. She'll still be alive, but in a coma like state."

Through the portal call, I saw Pitch grin and rub his hands, "Don't disturb him, he may kill you, he has strong anger and hate"

I nodded and grinned. Tomorrow princess. No more tomorrow for you.

Jack's POV

Elsa was sleeping peacefully when suddenly, I felt the dark me take over. I felt myself turn to the monster Pitch wanted to turn me into.

My evil self smirked as it saw her form helpless. She wouldn't be waking up anytime soon.

Slowly, I started to create an ice dagger. I knew what it was for and Ii tried to scream, but I was tapped inside myself.
I crawled over to Elsa and raised the dagger. It was about to enter her chest, but the world froze.

I saw glimpses of Elsa and me together, I caught glimpses of how Elsa hurt me by leaving, how she helped turn me into this, but I also saw her telling me she loved me.
I had to fight, now or never, I will never let her get hurt again. I love her.

Everything was still frozen while I was fighting. I found my evil self about to push the dagger into her heart, but I tackled him in my mind.

"DON'T HURT HER!" I yelled. I heard my voice, my voice coming out of my body's lips.

Evil me laughed and used his power. I felt myself disappear, but I kept thinking, of all the things I love. The Guardians are my family, the children are my friends and Elsa. I love her.

I kept fighting and I felt myself come back.
"Don't play a game you can't win." My evil self said.

But I ignored it and kept thinking of Elsa. Of her eyes, her smile, her heart her lips on mine.

I smiled and when I opened my eyes, I dropped the dagger.
But now the problem is, Elsa won't wake up.
