Always on Time

Chapter 6

By the time Mario had made it home it was going on 1am, the fact that Jade lived on the whole other side of town didn't help at all. Not too long ago Morgan had made a tweet that of course got posted on the shaderoom. All she simply said was Somethings just never change and here the blogs go taking that and running with it. One tea page posted it and captioned it "Moneybagg must be doing what he do again" referring to him cheating on Morgan. He hated all these damn blogs and tea pages but what he hated more was how Morgan always ran to social media about their problems, or anything that was going on period.

He dropped his keys on the dresser making himself noticeable.

Morgan didn't even bother to look up at him, she didn't even bother to speak to him.

"I lost track of time and you know iont be on my phone when I'm at the stu"

She continued to watch Love&HipHop like he wasn't even there. He walked over to her leaning down trying to kiss her cheek but she moved her face "I'm not tripping" was all she said. He stood back up heading into the bathroom before she changed her mind. He knew Morgan all too well. She'd say she didn't care no more but the longer Mario was in her presence the sooner she'd bring it back up. So he decided to go get him a shower in at least before she started with her shit.

When he came from the bathroom Morgan was laying in the bed scrolling through her phone. He knew she was pissed and they had been doing good lately so he wasn't trying to mess that up. He climbed in bed grabbing her pulling her into him.

"You know iont like when you mad at me" his husky voice came out.

"So stop doing stuff to make me mad Mario"

He gently kissed her neck as his hands roamed her warm body "Igh baby my bad"

She turned around now facing him "you smell good" she complemented her man.

He slightly chuckled "I smell good?"

She just nodded laughing a little "move yo hand Mario"

"Let me taste you" he said in all seriousness.

With no hesitation she turned over.

NEXT DAY

"So if you haven't turned in last week's paper you have until Friday and the partner project due date is extended to next week" Mr. Black said the last part sternly.

Jade thanked God himself! She knew she had been slacking and that partner project she'd definitely been sitting on. Dallas had finished his part so all left was for Jade to finish her part. Jade being the straight A student she was Dallas just knew she had her part done by now and they were good to go. But that was the total opposite.

"That's all for today, you all are good to go" Mr. Black dismissed his class "Cheaves" he called out causing Jade to stop gathering her books.

She already knew what this was about "yea Mr. Black"

"You good? What's up why you been slacking. You haven't turned in any of your weekly modules you and Dallas haven't submitted your presentation either?"

The weekly modules was just extra credit points it wasn't mandatory but the fact that Jade still did hers weekly but wasn't on it this week threw her professor off. With good kids like Jade professors took notice of little stuff like that.

She stood there fake smiling "No I just been going through family issues" she lied "I'd figure I'd just skip on the modules this week" she went on.

"Everything good?"

She nodded "now it is, I can focus back on my academics now"

"The presentation? Y'all good on it?" He went on questioning her.
