Soulmates through the dark // Mattheo riddle

This is a short one because I want to skip to the good bits.

"Quidditch time." Aliana sung waking me up, "What do you wear when you want to impress a year older very good looking ginger twin who you don't talk to much but awkwardly make eye contact with who's playing Qudditch against Hufflepuff?" She asked flinging open her draws.

" I'm not sure the runways have tackled such a challenge." I said. "I shall wear my black skirt grey oversized thing like always and maybe some red eyeshadow."

"So I'll wear a grey skirt and black top with red eyeshadow." Aliana said digging out some clothes. We changed and did our make up as Pansy and Daphne woke up.

"What are you doning up so early?" Daphne asked.

"It's half nine. I'm not sure that qualifies as early." I said.

"What time does the quidditch start?" Pansy asked.

"Half ten but we're going a bit early to watch them warm up." Aliana said.

"We missed breakfast." I grumbled at the realisation.

"You could ask my brother to get you something." She said taking my arm and leading me out the dorm.

"I can get my own food." I said slumping onto the sofa by the boys in the common room.

"I got you some food." Mattheo said handing me a parcel of two slices of toast.

"I love you." I said shoving one into my mouth.

"So do I get a kiss if you love me? I still have to finish the dare." He smirked, I guess the kiss before really didn't count as the dare.

"I may love you but no." I smiled, "are you going to the quidditch?"

"No, you?" He said.

"Yeah. It's Gryffindor so the twins are playing. I take it Blaise and Daphne will be studying. And Draco will be off and Pansy might watch or find something more interesting to do." I said.

"Someone more interesting to do you mean." Mattheo said.

"I'm gonna meet Astoria, I'll save you a seat." Aliana said getting up. I nodded.

"You promised to meet me in my dorm." Mattheo said raising an eyebrow.

"We have time before the quidditch." I said with a smirk.

He locked the door but it won't do anything. "I need to ask you something." He said sitting down on his bed and pulling me with him. "I like you and I want to be with you but I don't want to put you in danger."

"I'm already in danger, remember, im a very stupid person." I said.

"But I don't want it to be your fault. So can we date in private because I really like you?" He asked reaching out to me.

"Privately is better than not at all and I have been waiting something like three fucking years." I said with a grin.

"Good." He said pulling me onto his lap and kissing me.

"Oh I might go and tell your sister I won't be attending the game with her." I said skidding of his lap and going to find Aliana. He nodded and fell back on the bed smiling.

I found her talking to Astoria by the window seat.
"Oh, Haile, Astorias going to join us later so you ready to go now?" She asked standing up.

"Ugh, you two go, I think I'm gonna stay." I said biting my nails.

"Does this have anything to do with what I witnessed last night?" She said taking my arm and leading me out of earshot of anyone.

"Yeah and as much as I want to watch the twins I don't really want to anymore." I said with a nervous I smile.

"Ah, that's alright, although you better remember this when your picking your maid of honour for you wedding." She smiled going back to Astoria.

I sighed and went back to Matheos dorm with a grin.

"Astorias going instead." I said shutting the door behind me.

Mainly because I don't know what else to write and because I wanted to get to the good bit that's not so boring :)
