The Team 4

Chapter 2

Carol's plan was to kill Thanos and as she was leaving Nat tried to let her know that they work as a team. Steve even chimed in say that is was their fight as much as hers.

When Rhodey asked her if she knew where Thanos was. Carol said she knew those who might. But Nebula chimed in saying she knew just where he was.

"Thanos spent a long time trying to perfect me. And when he worked, he talked about his Great Plan. Even disassembled I wanted to please him. I'd ask where would we go once his plan was complete? And his answer was always the same. To the garden." Nebula says.

"Thats cute. Thanos has a retirement plan." Rhodey says.

"So where is he?" Steve asks.

Rocket then began to tell them about how when Thanos snapped he created a powerful energy source that no one had ever seen. Expect two days ago on another planet.

"Thats where Thanos is." Nebula says.

"He used the stones again." Nat says.

"Hey. Hey. Hey. We'd be going in shorthanded. You know?" Bruce questions.

"He still has the stones." Rhodey says.

"So lets get them. Use then to bring everyone back." Carol says.

"Just like that?" Bruce questions.

"Yeah. Just like that." Steve says.

"Even if there's a small chance that we can undo this... I mean we owe it to everyone who's not in this room to try." Nat says.

"If we do this, how do we know its gonna end any differently than it did before?" Bruce asks.

"Because before you didnt have me." Carol says.

"Hey, New girl? Everybody in this room is about that superhero life. And if you dont mind my asking, where the hell have you been all this time?" Rhodey asks her.

"There are alot of other planets in the universe. And unfortunately they didnt have you guys." Carol says.

And with that Steve silently agreed and then Thor got up from is seat and walked over to Carol. Once they were face to face he called his axe to him. And when it came to him Carol didnt even flinch.

"I like this one." Thor says.

"Lets go get this son of a bitch." Steve says.

One by one they all left out of the Compound and were heading to the spaceship. Before going in Steve saw Willa still blowing up stone images of Tony.

"Hey... Ummm... We're heading after Thanos. I'll... I'll be back soon." Steve says.

"Whatever." Willa says blowing up another stone statue.

"Willa, he didnt..." Steve says.

"Dont. Just go." Willa says.

She was clearly angry and Steve knew he should just let her calm down.

"Rogers! Lets go!" Nat yelled for him.

Steve walked away and then go on the ship. Once they all were on board, they were now heading to another planet farther away. Carol went down first and the others waited at the front of the ship while Steve and Nat were at another part.

Steve was looking at his old compass one that once had his first love and now over time it changed into another. And Nat caught him staring at it.

"You know we were on the run for two years and that was the only thing that made you smile. But I gotta know Rogers, when did it change from Peggy to Willa?" Nat asks.

"I changed it, when she left for Christmas durning the whole Mandarin thing." Steve says.

"And yet you cant say you love her? That stupid Rogers. When we get back Im making it my mission to get you two together. No more pining. The slow burn is killing me." Nat says.(😏)

Just then Carol came back and let everyone know it was just Thanos and they talked with him. They were told that he used the stones to destroy the stones. And then Thor just cut his head off.

"What did you do?" Rocket asks.

"I went for the head." Thor says.

All just stood there in silence as Thor just walked out.

5 Years Later

Steve is in Brooklyn running a therapy group and listening to those and telling then saying a part of his story.

"I went into the ice in 45 after I met who I thought was the love of my life. Woke up 70 years later... Only to find the real love of my life. You gotta move on." Steve says.

After his therapy session he went down to the water near the Brooklyn Bridge. Thats when he saw her skipping rocks along the water. And noticing that she was clearly using her powers to help the rocks go farther.

"I think that cheating." Steve says when he approached her.

"Not when your playing alone." Willa says turning to face him.

Steve just smiled at her and placed his hand on her cheek before pulling her in for a long passionate kiss.

"Hi." Steve says placing his forehead to hers.

"Hi." Willa says.

He then kissed her again this was a nice way to start their three year anniversary.
