Speaking those words out was the biggest regret you ever did in your whole life, the moment you spat those words out, your eyes flashed in regret, slapping your mouth immediately as you lower your head. You could already feel the gaze of disappointment piercing through your very soul, the atmosphere no longer held the warmth of a family, but exchanged with tension and worries, and of course disappointment and anger.

"You what?" Lucian spoke up first, the tone of his voice mixed with shock and anger. You knew how much the poor man had struggled to keep his wife alive while fighting the very person you freed. But it wasn't him the only one who struggled to fight against the king, even you were one of the victims yet here you were, letting your 'guilt' be the reason that broke the king free.

You inhaled a sharp breath, closing your palm into a tight fist, gathering the strength to tilt your head up to face the others. You still felt the stares of the Sentinels digging through your soul, but you didn't shutter over their angered expression. You did what you had done, it was your choice to free the King, not theirs. And they had to learn to accept that, even though it would be quite impossible.

"Yes... Yes, I freed the Ruined King that we once swore to fight against and seal him away" You repeated in a louder tone so that everyone in the room can hear you, holding your head high. The disappointment in the other's eyes remained, their brows furrowing as they expressed anger. The bravery in your eyes burnt away slightly, yet you continued holding your head high. You had expected this type of reaction from them, after all, they all fought so hard to defeat the Ruined King so as you did, only for that process to be incinerated within a couple of seconds.

"Why would you do that?" Senna spoke, taking a step forward as the colour of her eyes darkened with anger. You felt your heartbeat fasten in pace, fully fearing the presence of the Sentinel leader. Yet you kept your head high, not allowing your body to shudder as anger boiled from the depths of your mind.

"I thought you trust me" You responded without a thought, mentally cursing afterwards. How was this answering Senna's question? The leader's face darkens, causing you to shudder, holding your breath for a brief second before sharply releasing it. You had almost forgotten how much dominance Senna's presence has even after spending the last few months with her and the others.

"We 'trusted' you to keep yourself away from the Ruined King. You know what he did" Senna replied, taking another step towards you as she caught gaze with your eyes. You felt your body shudder once again, nervously swallowing your saliva. "We swore to keep him sealed away so he wouldn't do any more harm"

"Why did you free him?" A quiet voice spoke out, you immediately tore your gaze from Senna and turned your attention towards Gwen, her posture was stiff, her hands tightly gripped on her giant scissors. The look of disappointment flashed in her eyes, you knew how many grudges and hatred the seamstress held for the Ruined King and you couldn't blame her either. But what held her back was because that man was the reason Isolde had her shared moment of happiness. She pressed her lips, relaxed her grip on her scissors and settled them on the side.

You continued staying where you were, watching as the seamstress took a few steps toward you. Her mismatched bluebell eyes catch your [eye colour] ones. She eyed you carefully, observing if there was anything odd within you, a spark of curiosity hinted in her eyes. "But what I really wonder is how were you capable of pulling through my threads to free him" She declared, folding her arms as she tilted her head slightly in question. "No one can pull through the threads unless it's me or Senna"
