I do not promote any kind of this behavior in real life. This series was written to push my mind into the horror breaking point. I mean is how far can my imagination go before snaps and breaks. I heavily advise you not to do this at all, especially if you haven't been down the road of horror. There is content I am desensitized with and some others, not so much because of personal reasons.
It was not the triggering content that I pursue. I was going to write only two books, but nope. It was the characters that I fell in love with. Dark Angel was written as the origin story of Markus, the antagonist of Light Angel. My goal was to have Light Angel be less heavy than Dark Angel. Still is.
The mentions of triggering content are broad due to the matter of intensity. It can range such as mentioned in the story, description, or scene. This can happen multiple times. I understand some people might believe some warnings shouldn't be up there (or have to be added) because of sensitivity levels.
All characters are fictional. Some locations are real and some are made up. I am not monstrous enough to put real people to hell and back several times just to write a damn story.
