"I can't believe you are actually going through with this." A young girl enters the room wearing silver hunting clothes. Her eyes match her suit, but her hair is a dark auburn.

"Yeah well me either." Says a young man with bright blonde hair that matches the sun and blue eyes to match the sky. "But it'll be worth it. I just know it."

"Most importantly I can't believe father agreed." The girl says.

The boy sinks down into the chair. "He hasn't exactly agreed, yet Artemis. He wants us to go in front of him and plead why he should."

Artemis' face contorts the way it always does when she's thinking. "Where are you guys going to me-" She was interrupted by a sandy haired man poking his head into the room

"He's waiting for you in the foyer." The boy hesitates then nods.

He turns to his sister, "We're gonna meet at Camp Half-Blood." He takes a deep breathe counts to ten out loud then walks to the foyer with as much swagger as immortally possible.

As soon as he's out of ear shoot, Artemis pulls her wrist up to her face. Then speaks into a bracelet on it. "Thalia?"

There was a moment of silence then an answer, "Yes ma'am?"

"I think it's time we all visit Camp again."

There was some scuffling on the other end. "Okay, but uh.... We are in Nevada."

"You really shouldn't sit alone in the dark."

The girl jumps up from her stagnate position on the bed and throws a black hunting knife in the direction of the voice while simultaneously pulling a black sword from her belt and taking a defensive stance.

"CALIE!" The uninvited guest screams while diving to the side. The voice. She recognized it. At the same moment that she realized who it was the knife grazed by the guest's cheek, cutting him, but only superficially.

The girl, Calie, regains her bearings and runs over to the boy. "Oh my Gods! Nico. I am so sorry!" She tries to help him up, but the boy waves her off. "And what do you mean sitting alone in the dark. That's all children of Hades ever do." Calie saunters over to her bed and sits down while puffing out a deep breathe.

The boy locks eyes with her, "Oh no you don't." The boy, Nico, says.

Calie gives him a questioning glance, "What?"

"Don't you play innocent with me." Calie pulls her knees to her chest in a defensive manner. "You're regretting your decision."

A single tear escapes her eye. She mumbles a sentence to herself.

"What?" Nico asks.

"OF COURSE I AM REGRETTING MY DECISION NUMBNUTS! THIS COULD RUIN HIM. IT COULD RUin us." She stops, more tears escaping the prison of her eyes. "I don't want him throwing away his immortality just for me." She buries her face in her knees.

Nico gets up and walks over to her carefully. He sits down next to her and kisses the top of her head while pulling her towards him in an elderly brother way. He wrapped his arms around her trying to calm the raging girl.

"He loves you. You know." He says after a few minutes of silence. "So no matter what happens today. No matter if Zeus says no. It's worth it for him."

Calie looks up. Her eyes swollen with tears, her cheeks red. "Yeah" she sniffles, ", but is it worth it for me?"
