THE SONGBIRD AND THE NORTH: STATUS UPDATE
Okay, so! As you might know, my hesitation with posting the sequel(s) to tStS has largely been due to the fact that people have taken it and translated without my permission, and refused to take it down when asked (even website adminhave refused to help). First, I decided I would just not upload any of the sequels online and just wait until (if) I managed to have them published as actual books, but I've spent the past few weeks contemplating what to do, since I really want to share it with you guys, I reallywant to see your reactions to it, and now, I've finally reached a decision.
I will be uploading tStN and the two following sequels to Patreon.
Since Patreon is a "pay-to-view" service, it'll significantly lower the chances of my work being stolen by these rogue translators, andeven if it IS, I'll have a much wider basis for demanding it to be taken down, since they'll have re-uploaded paid content, an act most websites take way more seriously.
Now, I know this means that everyone who wants to read it will have to pay for it, and I'm really sorry forhappen, it was another week of fighting and struggling to get them to take it down. This is the only way I feel like I can upload for y'all to read while still keeping it safe, you know?
So it works like this: you pay a set subscription fee/month and gain access to the chaptersI post. I follow the same schedule as I did with tStS (one chapter/week), so I be uploading four chapters/month. You can unsub at any time, and the chapters will be there if you subscribe again.

In a world where dominance of the sea is an endless battle between pirates and mariners, Park Jimin is content living in his little village on a small, uninteresting island by the eastern mainland. But when his island is attacked by pirates, Jimin will have no other choice than to do as they command and leave all thoughts of peace behind in favor of boarding the Agust, a pirate ship captained by the infamous Min Yoongi, Black Fox of the East.
