In the time of celebration, sadness, and anger two goddesses stepped up. These two goddesses included Hera and Amphitrite. They were both angry at their husbands Zeus and Poseidon. Hera would be the one to usually get angry but Amphitrite has enough. Poseidon kept cheating on her with her sisters! The audacity was shocking. Hera's story was a bit different. Zeus always cheated on her. Hera was starting to wonder if Zeus was having other kids with different mothers on purpose. Hera, after all, was the goddess of marriage and family. Of course, she would stay faithful to Zeus, but the last straw was when Zeus just told everybody that he's having two children with Leto, a Titaness. Hera was stunned you see, for she thought she told Zeus to not have children with anybody else but her. Alas, her efforts were useless. Since poor Hera couldn't take her anger out on Zeus himself, she took it out on the mortal world and Leto. She decided it was up to her now to teach Zeus a lesson. And this time she wouldn't be so forgiving. It was time for a new era of truth and power. But would the time ever come?

Hera was thinking about her palace lost in thought for she was thinking of ways to further stop Leto from giving birth. She decided to visit Eileithyia, for she was the goddess of childbirth. Hera went in search of the goddess of childbirth and eventually found Eileithyia in a beautiful garden talking with Hebe, the goddess of youth. Hera felt a little bit weak because her domains include marriage and since Hebe was talking bad about Hercules ( aka Heracles), who had been married to her and made a god.

̈ Why did I have to marry him? He is never around and when he is, he doesn't even care about me! " Hebe said angrily.

̈ Oh what did you need, mother?" asked Eileithyia as she just noticed the goddess of marriage.

Hera responded " I need a favor from you." she told Eileithiya.

"Ok, but it better not get me in trouble with my father or any other of the Olympians," Eileithyia responded quite nervously.

Hebe, we will finish talking later, I must go and see what Mother needs."

And so, with a nod from Hebe, Eileithyia left the beautiful, tall, and lush garden for a less pleasant conversation. Eileithyia was confused about what her mother could want, most likely to abuse her position and powers as the goddess of childbirth, thought Eileithyia. Well, I won't do that then Eileithyia thought to herself. Hers stopped in front of her palace and responded in an overexcited voice.

"Come with me and we can have a drink," said Hera.

"Ok?" responded Eileithyia quite nervously for she had a good idea of what Hera wanted

"No, I will not do that! Father will be mad at me!" exclaimed Eileithyia. She and Hera had a long talk and finally agreed to tie up Leto so she couldn't give birth. They were about to start the plan when an unknown person came and joined them,

"Who are you?" asked Eileithyia. After all, she did start getting used to weird things.

" I am Amphitrite, goddess of the sea, and wife of Poseidon," replied Amphitrite. " I am tired of him cheating on me and abandoning me for my other sisters", responded the Goddess of the Seas.

Hera was still confused though. ̈ How did you get to Mt.Olympus, specifically my beautiful, artistic, and modern castle?¨

"I simply vapor-traveled." replied Amphitrite, looking bored, tired, and a bit annoyed at Hera. Why did I even decide to come here in the first place through Amphitrite? I could be doing many other things, I don't even know if I should help out Hera, she can be vain at times. Oh well, il just lightly converse with her

Amphitrite and Hera conversed, Of course, Eileithyia already left. For the second time in a day, another person came into the room. It was a god this time, with brown hair, green eyes, and a chiseled figure. Amphitrite thought he looked familiar but she wasn't quite sure. The god introduced himself a bit awkwardly.

̈ Hello, I am Eartol, god of the Earth and soil. Your plants told me you want to take Zeus and Poseidon down a peg or two?

Hera did not respond for a second. She noticed that he had a don't-touch-me-or-else kind of aura around him. She had to be careful. While she was thinking of what to say, Amphitrite stepped in for her.

̈ Why do you look so familiar?¨ questioned Amphitrite.

Well, people say I have a familiar face." responded Eartol. "Anyway, let's get on with why I came here, which is to offer you my assistance. The big three have been stuck up lately so they need to learn a lesson," said Eartol, completely serious in a don't-you-dare-insult-me-or-laugh look. Eventually, Ampthirite, Hera, and Eartol agreed to meet in Olympia, a place in Greece.

The parents' of ungrateful children walked to a nice and empty field. It was in this place that Eartol suddenly stopped.

"Ok so I have an idea on how to make your husbands notice you, i'll create a big hole in the ground, and Ampthirte will put water in it."

Amphrite then nodded and started filling up the water. The humans could tell that something was wrong, and people were praying to the gods that everything would be all right, especially farmers who were locking their doors and running nimbly since they didn't want to alert anyone that they were there.

Little did the trio know that Hermes could hear them, Hermes was after all the god of mischief, speed, and stealth so he could go undetected. Plus the group of deities was a little bit too loud.

Hermes, being the messenger god, went to Zeus right away and told him what the group was planning to do.

Zeus roared in anger "What? How dare she plot against me, I am the mighty Zeus, the all-powerful! Bring her and the other gods here right now, I must decide what to do with her as a punishment. I'm sure Poseidon will agree with me!"

There was a council meeting with all the Olympians. Nobody would listen to the fact that there was an Earth God. Zeus was outraged that Hera would lie to his face. "Hermes there is no Earth God right?"

Hermes replied in a shaky voice "No, no father there isn't an Earth god they must be delusional." Hermes only said this because he knew that he might get himself in trouble with Zeus.

Eventually, the council stopped fighting, and the punishment for Hera and Amphirtie was decided. They had to serve Artemis and Apollo for 10 years and apologize to Zeus and Poseidon. In return, Zeus and Poseidon promised not to cheat on their respective spouses anymore.

Well that was a definite lie
