And still he searched her in every ray...
It was 5 AM....At morning...
He got up and pulled the zip of his jacket up looking at the mirror....and smiled....
Sm- Kaisa lag raha hoon mai..? Pakhi...?Tumhara hi husband hoon...accha lag raha hoon! I know...
He rushed out of the tent and saw his friend waiting for him...
Sm- Chal!
F- Why are you late always?
Sm- 10 second...hua!
F- 1 1 second ki keemat hai!
Sm- really??
F- Haan...it is..
Let's go... jogging...
Sm- Hmm...
F- Tera mission laga hai na?
Sm- Hmm! 1 week mein nikalna hai...
F- Ok...now don't create buzz bout that...
Sm- Angrez khud chale gaye....tujhe chod gaye!
F- Very funny!...
Sm- Born Joker...
F- Sawari kidhar ko chali?
Sm- Don't create buzz...
F- Ohh dude!!
On the other hand...
Slight Sunrays fell on her pretty face and she got up for another race....
P- 5:30 baj gaye....
Bas 2 minute aur...
Aalsi ladki!!
She buried her face in the pillow and the curtains billowed...
P- Tch..(huffed) Good Morning Ladakh!!!
She got up and started her daily routine which was going on since 3 years....
Completing the daily chores and packing her books in the bag again...
She spoke...to herself...
P- Ohh...Pakhi mam good Morning apko bhi!!
(Smiled)
She took her bag and put her jacket on and moved out of the house....
She reached her college....
She moved inside and the students greeted her..in return she responded them and moved again...
That's when she got a call from the back..
An- Patralekha Mam!
P- Haan sir...(turned back)
An- Hi!
P- Hello Sir!
An- Wo...
Aapke paas notes hain kya?
Jo apne kal students ko diye the...?
P- Haan sir hai na!
An- Mujhe uski copy chahiye thi!
P- ohh..to mai notes de deti hoon...aap copy Kara lijiyega! Office se!
An- Nahi! Mai apse ek favour chahta hoon...
P- Kya?
An- Yahi ki....aap meri help kardein...mai new hoon...aap system jaanti hain...so mujhe test papers banane me help kardijiye...yahan ke hisab se!
P- Sure...staff room me discuss kar lete hain na!
An- Nahi...mere ghar me...
P- Ghar me...?
No sir...I can't come..
An- It's ok...aaj nahi ho sakta to phir kal..
Can I get your number?
P- Yes...sure...
She exchanged the number with him and went to her class....
At evening she arrived at her home and continued her work....
Till night the work went on...and to boost her up....
She made her coffee,took it and sat in the balcony.....
P(in mind)- You know...aaj pure 3 saal ho gaye....ladakh aaye hue...pata hai....in 3 saalon mein shayad tumhari yaad teesri baar aa rahi hai...I hope tum theek ho Samrat...
I hope tum ab mujhse nafrat nahi karte ho...I hope ab tumhari life me koi ho....jiska naam sunke tumhara chehra khil uthe...
Accha hai mai yahaan aa gayi...
Apne career pe focus karne ke liye....mahabaleshwar me rukna mere bas me nahi tha...ab mai yahan hoon..bilkul akeli...sabse door...na badi mami ki chai ki chinta...na aai ki dawa ki..na Karishma ke taanon ki...na sai ki baaton ki...
Thank you mujhe aage badhne ka matlab samjhane ke liye...
Tum sun nahi sakte mujhe...aur na mai tumhe...but agar life me ek baar milna hua na....to!
No....nahi mujhe nahi milna tumse...
She brushed her thoughts off her...
And sipped her coffee....
Completed her work... jumped on bed...
And slept....
Here.....
Samrat was lying down in his tent...
All his workmates had slept....but he was in his own world...
Sm(in mind)- Pata hai...mai Ladakh jaa raha hoon...aaj ka din bhula nahi jaa sakta....har din...Pakhi....har din maine tumhe yaad kiya hai...
Aisa koi din nahi raha jab maine din bhar ki baatein tumse na kahi ho!
Kahan Kahan nahi dhundha tumhe maine....par tum nahi mili....shayad Mera last chance mere haath se chala gaya...par tum Jahan ho...bas khush raho...
Thinking all this his eyes brimmed up with tears.....
He turned his sides and then slept with regret whole night....
