You wake up to the feeling of warmth on your face. It felt nice, but you should really start closing your blinds. The sun always lead to you waking up early.

You look to your right and flinch a little, seeing a black blob on your nightstand. Letting your eyes adjust you realize it's your cat, Salem, staring at you.

"You gotta stop doing that, buddy," you told him, resulting a small meow. He was hungry. "Give me a minute to wake up, yeah?"

After freshening up and getting dressed, you walk over to kitchen and put some cat food in Salem's bowl. He trots up happily and starts eating.

As you make yourself a bagel, your phone starts ringing. You smile seeing that it's a facetime from Andy. You prop your phone up and answer.

"Hey Andy, what's up?" you greeted.

"Okay, so, I'll get straight to the point," he said in his deep voice. "You know that tour I'm going on in like less than a week?"

"Yeah, the one with Motionless and Ice Nine right?" You ask, jumping a little as the bagel popped up from the toaster.

"Yeah! So I was wondering if- what are you- can you pay attention?" He said, seeing you focusing more on spreading cream cheese on your bagel.

"I'm listenin'!" you laugh.

"I was wondering if you'd wanna go with us. Don't say anything about work! I took care of it." He said quickly, barely giving you time register his words.

Your eyebrows furrowed.

"What do you mean you took care of it?"

Instead of replying, he just grinned brightly.

"Andy, what do you mean?" You repeated.

"Check your email."

"Did you get me fired or something?"

"Maybe. Maybe not." He shrugged.

"Bitch."

"Yeah, yeah," Andy dismissed while rolling his eyes, "Where's my nephew at?"

Salem had finished eating and decided to claim the couch for a nap. He had his paw stretched out under his head like a little pillow.

You carefully propped your phone up against the arm of the couch so he was in view. He opened one eye and stared at it. He had really pretty yellow eyes. Truly a Halloween, your favorite holiday, "themed" cat.

You left the room for a second to grab your laptop. As you walked away you could here your phone emitting a loud, "Aww hey Salem! How are you, bud?"

You came back, laptop in hand, to see Andy in a full one sided conversation with the cat. You shook your head and sat on the couch next to Salem.

"If I didn't know any better, I'd say you like my cat more than me."

"Oh no, I definitely do," he said jokingly.

You flipped him off, causing him to laugh, while scrolling through your emails. You really had to clear them out at some point.

"No way..." You said, your eyes skimming through one.

"You saw it?" Andy smiled.

"Yeah," You said in disbelief. "So- hold on- i'm getting payed to goof around with my brother?"

Andy chuckled, "Pretty much."

Luckily for Andy, especially in the early years of Black Veil Brides, (Y/n) had a passion for photography. She always helped out with promo pictures for the band and things like that.
