"Elena said that the sun and the moon curse were fake and that it was actually a curse place on Klaus and his wife," Stefan exclaimed, Elijah standing in front of him. While he was sitting on a couch.
"Klaus is a vampire born of werewolf bloodline, and his wife is a vampire born of witch bloodline, not any ordinary witch, a very powerful witch. the curse had kept their original bloodline aspect from manifesting, but if they break the curse, they will become more powerful than anyone can imagine, " Elijah explained. Damon is walking in.
"Then why are we letting them break the curse, we can kill them today with bonnie," Damon pointed out, walking closer to then younger ones.
"Damon," Stefan muttered in disagreement
"No bonnie can't use that much power without dying, and if we did, what would we do about his wife?" Elena argues back.
"First, we take out the wife, then I'll write Bonnie a great eulogy.

"No, no way, you're wrong it cant be Iris. She would never be with him. She was helping us take him out," Damon said in denial.
"I'm sorry, damon, but they have been married since they were human, and she wouldn't do anything to hurt him," Elijah replied, nodding awkwardly.
"Alright, how do we break this curse?" Stefan asks, breaking the silence.
"Well, the ritual itself is relatively straightforward, the ingredients so to speak, you already know -"
"The moonstone," Stefan cuts in.
"Iris has kept just enough magic to channel the power of the full moon to release the spell that's bound within the stone , after that, Klaus being both vampire an werewolf with sacrifice one of each. Iris being both witch and vampire, she will have to sacrifice one of each, " Elijah explains.
"Wait, if Iris's witch bloodline is bound by the moonstone, how does she have power to complete the ritual?" Damon asks a very good question.
"In 1001 AD Iris's mother, Edith took all Iris's power leaving her nearly dead, Edith needed to give her a small amount of her own power until the curse was broken. Iris could use the power for anything but if she consumed or used to much before the ritual she would die, After the curse is broken she gets all her magic from the past 1000 years back making her the most powerful witch known" Elijah explained. Stefan, damon, and Elena looking at him in shock.
"So not only is an original hybrid after me but also his powerful heretic wife.." Elena replies, putting her face in her hands.
"So where do I fit in?" she asked watching Elijah.
"The final part of the ritual, They must both drink the blood of the doppelganger, to the point of your death" Elijah went on, Elena just now taking in the fact that she's going to die. Stefan grabs her hand.
