We were just kids. Me and daisy on a summer day. We didn't have to worry about anything. It was the life.
My name is Oliver Jones and I'm in high school. I haven't seen Daisy since we were kids. She went missing 12 years ago and I've been worried sick about her. It's her birthday today, July 19th. She had the greenest eyes, as green as an emerald. Last time I saw her she had a baby blue sunflower dress on. People ask how I remember that far back and I tell them," I could never forget her and the smile she gave me before she left on vacation and never came back.
August 10th, The first day of school.
I walked out my house and hoped in my car ready for a new day. Once I got to school I had math. There was a girl, she looked so familiar yet I couldn't bring her in my head. I went to introduce myself and I said hi. She just nodded at starred. So strange but I walked back to my desk and sat there with her on my mind. She had these glasses on, pitch black to where you couldn't see her eyes. It was like she was trying to avoid anyone seeing her.
After class I went to my locker, right next to my friend, Peter. I tell him about the new girl and he just thought I was crazy he said "there's no new girl?" She walked by us and I said "There!" He laughed while saying,"Stop trying to prank me, there's no girl there!" She took her glasses off and looked at me. It was her! It was daisy! She's back! Her green eyes shinned so bright hitting the reflection of me. Peter called out,"Blondie come on we have to go!" I went.
After school, I stopped at the library and daisy was there. I went up to her and exited I said," Daisy your back! I was worried sick about you." I give her a big hug and she disappeared into, dust? I ran out to my locker grabbed my stuff and left.
I needed to relax so I went to the cemetery, one of the quietest places here. I started to look around and I saw a grave. It wasn't just any grave it was Daisies?!? She's dead.? That explains everything! It was only me who could she her, it was only me who could talk to her, she was only looking at me.
I get a tap on my shoulder. Confused I slowly turn around and she was there. She said," Help me Oliver." I take a blink and she's gone. I have to get to the bottom of this. I have to find out what's happening.
