He was used to always being in control, always watching everyone, what to do? Where to go? When? And how?, he always took care of everything. He even made sure to distribute things to the one who would be most comfortable, people with strong wills would have the most difficult tasks, and those with a more sensitive personality would do the easiest things, climbing slowly in difficulty, and if at any point they reached their limit, then he would just let them stay in that area until he came up with something they could do, but not too demanding of them.

However, that had to change, he had to get used to not being in control of everything anymore, letting everyone make their own decisions and make their own mistakes.

Even for him it was difficult.

However, for Fei it was different, he was comfortable with all of that.

If he thought about it for a second, it made sense, after all, Fei had already adapted to the world, knowing almost nothing about himself, surrounded by people he doesn't know, and with no clear place to go, armed only with his good will, derived from the fact that he no longer had anything to lose; Seen under that logic, that now he is living with his father, knowing who he is, and surrounded by people who know him, it is, in short, a very big setback in his independent life, and even so, Fei didn't seem upset

He never complained or recriminated those who asked him for help to adapt, he always gave his full support, even changing his words and tone of voice depending on the person he was talking to.

Before he knew it, Fei had become a leader.

He wanted to give himself the freedom to be proud of it, after all, if Fei had ever been the captain of one of his strongest teams, it was because he had already realized that Fei had that ability.

Fei knew how to talk to people and could make them want to follow him, trust him, even if he was dangerous. She couldn't fault him, since, after all, they were alike in that way.

It didn't take long for her to realize that she was also following Fei.

At first she was to show gratitude, she tried to help Fei as much as she could, then Fei took it upon herself to help him adjust to the world.

After all, he didn't know how to do it, he had never learned to live in the world, what he knew, was what he had struggled to learn, to face the world.

And yet, Fei helped him every step of the way.

She could say that today it no longer makes sense for them to continue together, after all, he now knows how to stay in the world, secluded in a corner of it, without participating, but without ceasing to be part of it.

So if he no longer needs her advice, if he no longer gives him orders and if there is no real need for him to be by his side anymore.

Why are they still together then? A small part of him torments him with that question, while another, the one that takes up the most space in his head, doesn't want to know the answer, doesn't even dare to ask.

After all, if for some reason Fei still thinks he doesn't fit in the world, asking him outright would make him think that it was all over then, which would make him turn away from him, and he doesn't want that. .

After all, he is capricious and, as he had recently realized, possessive.

The thought of Fei shutting him out bothered him more than he cared to admit, and if to keep him by his side he had to keep acting like someone who didn't fit in, then that was fine, because Fei would be the only one to see it that way.

Although everyone in Feida saw him fall, everyone thought that he was just a withdrawn person who had a hard time expressing his feelings, something not too far from reality, but he never became less.

Then Fei would be the only one who could see him like that, the only one he would receive an order from.

He was fine with it, it was like that for a while, until he discovered something

It was an accident, one day he started making fun of Fei and, in the middle of the conversation, he noticed that the boy was blushing and acting erratically.

Realizing that he still had power over Fei's reactions was uncomfortable, mixed feelings, on the one hand he felt good knowing Fei reacted that way towards him, and on the other he felt disappointed.

He wasn't even sure why, or what he expected, but he ignored that feeling and continued to deal with his new discovery.

He wasn't as nice a person as Fei, he didn't know if Fei never realized that she had any power over him, or just didn't want to use it against her, but he took advantage of it by joking. Fei made him feel comfortable, somehow it was more natural.

And like all good things come to an end, one day he just screwed up, he said something he would regret for a long time.

- Haha, you're cute

After that, Fei, her cheeks still pale red, stared at him.

- Hmm? What are you saying? I didn't know you liked me, Saru.

And then he smiled, bringing her face close to his, he froze.

He knew that smile, it was one he hadn't seen in a long time, the same one he used when they attacked in the past, a smile that showed arrogance, full of self-confidence and some mockery.

Sure, Fei smiled like that when he was playing soccer, but she never saw him give that kind of smile to anyone, least of all him.

- I do not-

- Haha, calm down, just kidding

From that day on, everything was ruined. After that, he had to be careful what he did or said, because Fei would take any chance to make fun of him.

Once he tried to use Fei's card against him, the result was terrible.

— Huh? Why are you looking at me like that? Do I look so good?

— You are a beauty, Saru

Again, he froze, he didn't know what to answer, and simply avoided him gaze, while the boy laughed.

It didn't take long for him to realize that if Fei got upset or blushed when he was teased, it wasn't because of shyness, but Fei really did resent being teased.

That made him realize that his power over Fei was different from what he had thought, since Fei saw him as someone he allowed to annoy him, someone he wouldn't really defend himself against, it felt good to know that Fei saw him as someone he had to protect, even from Fei himself, ironically

Somehow, discovering all that made him feel calmer, now he knew what his limits were with Fei, how to act with him and everything that Fei could provoke in him.

He was relaxing, in his own way.

And, without realizing it, he became a little looser with the boy, he gave himself more freedom to be like this, after all, Fei would not make fun of him, because he would be protecting him.

But then again, that part of him is something that only Fei could see.
