Cale's fatherhood journey

I just wanted to see Cale having a mid life crisis while putting diapers on... but this happened :)

The war had finally come to an end.

The heroes were able to take a breather, with no urgency to fight and protect. Only thing they had was a bunch of paperwork and travel plans they wish to complete.

Cale Henituse had rejected the idea of travel. Instead, he asked the children to go along with Mary and Eruhaben to explore the world, while he funds their trip. He even sent Choi Han with them, as the poor boy had never gotten to explore things after he came out of the village. As he was always with Cale, they only visited places for a while, not touring for any longer as they were on missions. 

However, there were protests and arguments.

Who in their right mind would leave Cale Henituse, the trouble magnet alone?

So, promising to visit Alberu for at least an hour to make sure he is not doing anything stupid and develop his farm. Cale Henituse finally got his alone time.

"Ugh."

Cale felt as if he should have listened to the children when they asked him to travel with him. Now look at him, he was in a sight where bandits had attacked a carriage, leaving two twins, few months old, babies inside of it.

Cale debated whether he should just run away from the crime scene and let the guards handle the rest. But the babies were crying while pulling his long coat, not letting go. Yes, totally because the babies were holding him, he was still there looking at them. Nothing else. Not because of their puppy eyes, or tiny little hands or the cute little laughter at all. 

So, in the end Cale had two twins in his arms holding them as gently as possible, while he walked in the Henituse territory world.

"You two"

"Us?"

"Yes. Come here."

Cale called the two knights of the Henituse household, who happily followed the order as they came by his side.

"You carry these twins. And you'll carry the shopping bags."

Cale was self-proclaimed trash. He could act, however he wished to, so he just ordered the two. Not realizing that these two works under his family and it is their job to follow his instructions.

"Young master-nim, If I may ask, who are these children?'

Knight 1 asked curious as to who these babies were. (A/N: Yes, I am lazy to name them...)

"I found them abandoned in the carriage that got raided by bandits."

Cale shrugged as they walked inside a noble baby store.

"Young master, are you adopting them?"

Knight 2 asked as he was holding many bags and boxes filled with baby cloths, baby toys, baby food... everything that is related to babies.

"Don't know. Until I find them a suitable place to stay, I guess."

Cale shrugged as he looked at fluffy and comfortable pillows and comforters. Usually, it was his staff's job to do this, but as he was already here, why not go on his own.

'I should have come here myself from the start.'

Cale looked at the most expensive soft mattresses and comforters. He felt as if he was in heaven, he wanted all of them for himself.

However, on the other side, the knights were shocked to see how much their young master is spending just for these babies he met today. Not only that, but he was also checking the comfort of things to make sure the babies feel very comfortable.
