Why is it never me....

Lev loved to hang out with his best friend and senpai Yaku Morisuke. He knew him since his first year at Nekoma, mostly because they both play on the volleyball team. But little did Lev know that it meant way more for Yaku than he could ever imagine...

Yaku Morisuke's pov 8 april:

*buzz* *buzz* my phone rang. I quickly grabbed it just to see a message from my favorite person: Lev Haiba. 'Yaku-san!!! Can we meet up today???? I have something important to tell you!!' I read the message and reply immediately. 'Sure Lev. Where do you want to meet up? And how late?' Will it be my lucky day? Is he gonna confess???? I got up and picked out an outfit to go with for the day. "This will do." I said as I checked my phone. "Hm he didn't reply yet? That's strange he always replies immediately..." I walk downstairs to eat something while my phone buzzed again 'What about the park around 7 pm??' 'That's good enough. I'll be there.' I replied with a smile on my face.

Lev Haiba's pov:

I did it, I got the courage to ask Yaku-san out. I send him a message asking if we could meet up. He immediately replied as always 'Sure Lev. Where do you want to meet up? And how late?' it said. "HE SAID YES OH MY GOD!" Lev shouted. "Levochka, who said yes to what???" Alisa walked inside my room immediately. "Yaku-san, I'm going to confess to him today!" I said excited. "You should get ready then!! I'll help you!!!!" Alisa said being excited and happy for me. She immediately opened my closet and chose a suit for me to wear. "I should tell him the location and time." I thought as I grabbed my phone 'What about the park around 7 pm??' He answered that he would come. "I should buy some flowers and chocolates for him too!" I say to Alisa, who was nodding. "Perfect idea! Good luck my little brother." she said as she walked back out of my room and I knew she would tell everyone about it.

7 pm in the park Yaku's pov:

"Where is he-" I say as I wait for him in the park. A random lady walks up to me, probably a fangirl. I spotted Lev and tried to call for him until the girl kissed me. I froze on the spot as I saw Lev dropping the flowers and chocolate he had in his hands and ran away. I pushed the girl off of me harshly, not caring about her. The one I loved saw the wrong thing, I fucked up bad time. I thought as I ran after Lev, yelling his name, but he wouldn't stop running away from me so I eventually gave up. I needed to text Kuroo to help me.

Lev's pov:

I was a bit late, but it wasn't my fault there were too many people at the flowershop. I spotted Yaku with a girl. "Who is she, is she Yaku-sans girlfriend?" I thought as I stopped walking. I saw Yaku looking at me and thats when my nightmare became reality...the girl kissed Yaku. I froze as I saw that he didn't pull back or anything. "Oh. He has a girlfriend.." I thought as I dropped the stuff I got for him. I turned around and started to run away tearing up. "Yaku-san can't see me like this..at least he's happy I think." I heard someone calling my name. "Lev, wait up please!" it was Yaku-san. I couldn't brig myself to look at him, so I just kept running until I reached my house. I walked inside and shut the door. Alisa went outside to go on a date with Miwa, so I was all alone. I walked to my room immediately and sat down on my bed. "Am I not good enough? I mean she's pretty and probably better than me." I thought as I started to cry.

Yaku's pov:

'Kuroo I need your help.' he better replies soon. 'Ah Yaku needs my help, what's up shorty?' Tch idiot. 'I fucked up. Lev was going to confess to me I think, since he dropped some stuff, but this girl kissed me and he ran away.' 'Did you explain it to him?' this dumbass- 'I tried to but he wouldn't stop running away.' 'Did you try to text him?' shit- I didn't think about that. 'No, that's a great idea.' I immediately texted Lev. 'Lev please let me explain it.' shit it didn't get delivered, he blocked me... 'Kuroo text him for me, he blocked me.' 'I can try, but I don't know if he will answer.' 'Just try it dammit!' This idiot I just want to know if Lev is safe...
