The Mark

"Hey sleepyhead... Wake up." Zee said as he entered the bedroom.

    His boyfriend of two years was on his stomach sleeping when he was supposed to up and about getting ready for the trip to Montmorency Falls. Zee sat down next to the sleeping man and smiled. They moved to Quebec 2 years ago from New York and made the place home. They bought a house with acres of land around it and settled there. Both of them enjoyed every single day living together as a couple. Their home was a cottage style house with 3 bedrooms with a view of the Lake Saint-Jean on the horizon making the simple and understated cottage the perfect home for the two.

"NuNew... Come on..."

    His boyfriend still refused to wake up.

"Baby?"

    There was still no sound. Zee then moved closer and kissed NuNew's nape. Ever so slowly, he kissed down NuNew's spine.

"No..." A muffled groggy voice finally could be heard.
"Baby... I've showered and you haven't. We don't want to be late." Zee reasoned.

Nunew with his eyes closed managed to find the thick duvet cocooned himself from top to toe and continued to sleep.

"Baby..." He tugged the duvet.
"Go away!"
"Nunew..." Zee pulled a little harder and smiled when NuNew curled up like a fluffy caterpillar with the blanket securely wrapped around him.
"You said that you want to head to the waterfall early?" Zee questioned him.
"Baby? Should we cancel?" He asked.
"No..." NuNew's muffled voice could be heard.
"Then come on... It's close to 7." Zee urged him.

    NuNew looking all scruffy and adorable emerged from under the blanket. He squinted his sleepy eyes and stared up at Zee. He scrunched his nose and pouted. Zee sat down on their bed.

"My boyfriend looks so cute this morning." Zee murmured.
"I look horrible and body needs rest..." NuNew scowled at Zee.
"This is your fault." He complained.
"My fault? I don't understand." Zee feigning innocent.
"You knewwwww we're going to the waterfall today and you knewwww the we had to wake up early..."
"I sense a but there..." Zee teased his boyfriend.
"Why did we have sex TWICE last night?" NuNew complained while his cheeks bloomed in embarrassment.
"You didn't actually say no Baby." Zee grinned and laughed when NuNew hurled one of the pillows at him. He grabbed the pillow with ease.
"We didn't have sex Baby... We made love." Zee stated while staring lovingly at NuNew.
"Come on... I'll get breakfast ready and you hop into the shower." He said and patted NuNew's butt.
"I thought that I'm the older one in this relationship but you are so weak Baby." Zee purposely poked fun at NuNew.

He laughed as NuNew's expressive eyes narrowed at him. Zee laughed even louder when his adorable boyfriend lunged at him and straddled his body.

"I should get you annoyed more often Baby... I really enjoy this angry side of you." Zee grinned at NuNew who was spitting nails at him.
"I'm not weak! Just because you're taller and have more muscles on you doesn't make me weak!" NuNew protested.
"Hey... I have been up since 6 and you've been sleeping in." Zee teased him.
"Stop pouting... You're not weak Baby... Was teasing you."
"Can we not go?" NuNew stretched his body and murmured.
"I've no problems but you've prepared food and stuff for the trip." Zee pointed and held NuNew's waist.
"We can eat them or send some to Mrs Brown and Felix." NuNew suggested.
"Your wish is my command Baby... You know how I enjoy being at home with you." Zee smiled and pushed himself up to kiss NuNew's nose.
"Zee..."
"Yes Baby?" Zee answered and he kissed his nose.
"No sex..." NuNew muttered.
"Huh? What do you mean?"
"You KNOW what I mean." NuNew muttered and pinched Zee's stomach.

Zee laughed at the feeble attempt.

"No I don't... Please explain." Zee grinned at his boyfriend.
"You always want to have sex..." NuNew whispered.
"I call it making love Baby..." Zee argued.
"Whatever you call it... Making love... Having sex... As long as it is you... I can die a happy man." He told NuNew.
"Don't say things like that... You know I don't like it."
"I'm sorry Baby..." Zee smiled and cradled NuNew's face in his hand.
"I love you New... You know that right?" He suddenly said to his boyfriend.
