Staring up at the starry night sky, Uki let out a deep, shaky sigh as he lay on the grassy field behind the Noctyx Headquarters. The cool breeze whispered through the leaves, but the quiet only amplified the ache in his chest. Tears, vibrant with every color he had ever known, slid down his cheeks, glimmering like tiny prisms in the moonlight.

He wished it would stop. The crying was draining him, leaving him feeling hollow, yet he couldn't entirely despise the tears. They sparkled like stars, and even though they threatened to steal his sight, they were the only connection he had left to him.To Fulgur.

"Fuu Fuu-chan..." he whispered into the stillness, the name cracking in his throat like a broken melody.

Uki knew he was unraveling, his grip on reality loosening with each passing day. His heart, stubborn and relentless, still longed for what it could no longer have. And no matter how much it hurt, there was a part of him that didn't want to let go.

A song, one he had created long ago, crept into his mind. It was the only thing that could soothe him now. His voice, rough from emotion, barely managed to hum the familiar tune as his tears continued to fall, shimmering with unspoken words.

"There's a tale, a legend told... when the night was full of light..."

Uki's voice faltered, but he kept going, clinging to the melody as if it were the last fragile link to a world that once made sense. His tears, like stars falling from the sky, slipped down his face in endless streams, each one a reminder of a love lost but still desperately clung to.

Not far from him, hidden in the shadows, stood Alban Knox and Sonny Brisko. They watched in silence as the usually cool, confident Uki crumbled before them. The sight was unbearable—seeing Uki, who had always been their pillar, reduced to tears and pain. Alban's eyes shimmered with sorrow, while Sonny clenched his fists, unable to stop his own tears from spilling over.

"Is there really no solution?" Sonny asked, his voice thick with emotion.

Alban shook his head, the weight of it all heavy on his shoulders. "If there was, I would've told him by now."

Sonny glanced back at Uki, who was now sobbing uncontrollably, clutching his chest as if the agony inside would tear him apart. Each sob seemed to echo across the field, pulling at their hearts.

"We need to tell Fuu-chan," Alban muttered, stepping forward, but Sonny's hand shot out, grabbing his arm.

"You know we can't. Uki tried everything—he even told him outright, but Fuu-chan just...played along," Sonny whispered, his voice filled with a bitter helplessness.

Alban stared back at Uki, the pain in his chest tightening as he looked into Sonny's eyes, his own spilling over with tears. His voice cracked, breaking into sobs as he whispered, "It was never clear to begin with..."

Alban's grief overwhelmed him, and he collapsed into Sonny's chest, his body trembling with each choked breath. "We can't just watch Uki lose his sight! He's running out of time!" he cried, the desperation in his voice slicing through the quiet night. "We have to do something!"
