When dream still 5 yo,he got lost in a forest after picnic with his parents.its getting dark when dream meet his new friends named 'nightmare' and 'lucid'.they helped dream to get out from the forest.after that,somehow nightmare and lucid lives inside of dream,causing dream got his power earlier than everyone else,his parents were worried and checked dream to theyr friends,philza and puffy (not a ship duhhh).yes,as expected,dream got his power early, 'but' his power its extremely dangerous.

Dream's parents that love theyr son very much,got worried and try to hide dream power,they dont want dream get in trouble.because who know if there a crazy profesor trying to experimented dream? Dream parents were so worried.besides,sometimes dream cant control theyr power.

As time passes,dream parents 'DEAD' because of dream power,before theyr dead,theyr ask philza and puffy to take care of their son,dream.Thats why dream is live with puffy now,and sometimes philza comes to train dream with his power.
